"The best care for our little rescue, that when we got her was a train wrec. Now, enjoying life in her final home."
"I took my rabbit to emergency services for labored breathing and because he was acting extremely out of character. I was told there would be an exotic vet on staff to examine him. Instead a vet with horrible bedside manner examined him then told me she wasn’t really sure because she’s not an exotic vet and there wasn’t one on staff. They also would not let me go in the back with my bunny and talked to me about possible treatment in the waiting room in front of a bunch of other people. That should be a private matter. I was scolded and told I should bring him to an exotic vet, even though I can’t because it’s Sunday and they are the only hospital open. I was told they would give him antibiotics and send some home with me, just to be told 30 minutes later that their pharmacy isn’t working today. Like how does that even work? Very disappointed in this hospital and left 200 dollars less with zero answers. Update: my baby boy passed away. I was told at this hospital that they listened to him and did not hear any fluid in his lungs or any issues. I took him yesterday to his vet only to find out that he was in serious distress and had fluid in his lungs and around his heart. This hospital prolonged my baby’s suffering, and told me false information. Very upset!"
"The only reason I’m giving one star is because of the nice Vet that ended up putting my dog done. My dog was at our local vet being hospitalized and we were told to take him to auburn emergency hospital because they didn’t feel comfortable with him being there alone during the night. My dog was weak so he couldn’t walk but he was alert when we got there. They took him straight back and said they would analyze him. After two hours, a student came out to get “information” (we had already filled out ppw with all of this info. He asked if my dog was a male or female so I asked if he has seen my dog yet and he replied with “Nope. I don’t even know what your dog looks like” he was so insensitive. Another two hours go by and we finally talk to the vet and he said that they would need to run more tests before they could tell what was wrong with him and we needed to pay a $1000 before they touched him, of course I did so because I desperately wanted them to help my dog. At 4:00 am, they said they were going to keep him overnight and run these tests and they would call the next day. At 10 am the same morning, we got a call from them saying we need to come straight there, once we got there I was told that all of his organs were shutting down and he can no longer breathe on his own and we needed to make a decision. Of course I didn’t want him to suffer so I decided to get him put down, when I was finally able to see my dog, they had a cannula STAPLED into my dogs snout, all the way up to his ears, he had blood gushing out of his nose and mouth. It was absolutely traumatizing, this was the last time I saw my baby boy. He went in alert and 12 hours later he was dead with no answers. They killed my dog. I can’t help but to think that as a teaching hospital, they experimented on my baby. I have no idea what they did to my poor baby in that 12 hours and it makes me physically sick. If you want your pets life to be saved, avoid this hospital."
"This hospital is a God send to my family and my baby, Twilla. The staff is exceptional and has walked us through every step of my baby's treatment and healing. She's showing great improvement and we are so very grateful."
"My recently adopted pup, Petey, ended up having IVDD surgery here. Everyone is so compassionate and transparent. They thoroughly explain everything and gave frequent updates. Dr. Butterfield and Dr. Sun were both amazing. I highly recommend this place!"
