The Collegiate Hotel at Auburn

"A coworker & I stayed here two nights because we were attending a conference nearby. This hotel is in a great location. Hotel staff was super nice & accommodating. Rooms are very clean, spacious & decorated nicely. HOWEVER...this is the absolute loudest hotel I have ever stayed in. We arrived on a Tuesday evening around 5:30 p.m. A fraternity & sorority formal social was taking place in the lobby bar. Around 50 to 60 people cramped into the very small lobby/bar area. Our rooms were on the 2nd floor. You could barely get through the lobby to access the elevator. Once on the 2nd floor, you could still hear everything going in the lobby. The noisey social lasted till about 10:00 p.m. On Wednesday night, another event was taking place & it was even louder than Tuesday night. People in lobby, elevators running all night. We could hear everything going on in lobby/bar area from our room on the 2nd floor! You can hear people on 3rd floor slamming doors & walking through hallways. You could even hear people going up & down the stairs from inside your room. I really like the hotel aesthetic & friendly staff, but I will never stay here again due to the amount of noise."

"Mixed Experience with Friendly Staff My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel, and my experience was a bit of a mixed bag. On the positive side, the location is convenient, and the room itself was clean. The staff members were notably friendly and welcoming, which added a positive touch to the stay. However, the thin walls made it challenging to get a good night's sleep. Waiting times at the front desk were consistently longer than expected, and there was a lack of communication about when the bar was open. Surprisingly, there wasn't a microwave in the room, and the front desk confirmed they didn't have a communal one for guest use. Adding to the frustration, the grab-and-go breakfast included oatmeal, but there were no bowls provided. Were guests expected to buy their own bowls? I wanted to give this place a chance to become my go-to spot, but these issues left me uncertain. I hope the management takes note of these concerns to enhance the overall guest experience."

"I travel all over the country for work and I’m not kidding when I say that this was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The ladies that work at the front desk were incredible helping me figure out where to go on the Auburn campus which begins right across the street. The rooms are a very chic, Tory Burch vibe. There is a golf cart shuttle where the staff will take you to and from on campus which was so fun! I I had the best time getting to know the staff! My fav part by far was the staff. I hope I need to work at Auburn University again soon because I will be booking asap! Absolutely stay here!!!!"
