"This place is a dissappointment. The food itself is decent. Its that fancy chinese food so it caters more to looks than the flavor. The staff is so rude its unreal. They would be better off to put a drink station out so people can use it and just place their order at the register. It would probably be much swifter that way. They have sushi, its mediocre at best. The hibachi is less than that. And their prices are absolutely insane. We only eat here when every other business is closed for christmas and we regret it every time"

"So I’m sure no one in your restaurant will see this or care. ..but…YOU were given a $20 cash tip right after we put our order in…we know we are A LOT! You weren’t the best server we have had, but you did attempt. The whole family you were waiting on tonight have all worked ALL the positions, host, server, dishwasher, cook, and bus boy. Collectively you earned over $100 in tips that you did not deserve. We did not realize until after we left that you charged us %18 gratuity for our party. Collectively you made over $100 for a tip for mediocre service. Between the $20 cash tip, the gratuity and our %15-18 tip we left you extra. We all really hope you needed the money because that is the only way for us to justify the tip you received. You basically messed a lot of things up and still made more off us than anyone getting paid minimum wage. There is no need disputing anything with your owners/managers because all of us are on Person County local. I don’t want to give your name….but you know who you are: lost out on huge future business with very understanding customers."

"I love the food but the service was poor. The restaurant only had a total of 8 adults including me and my husband and there were three children from approximate ages of 13 months to 3 to 5 years old. The waitress came out right away to get our drink order. The bad part was anytime I asked for napkins, water refill, take out box she would say ok but never came back. I had ordered a shrimp roll but only got a plain egg roll. They made the mistake twice. I told them nevermind I will eat the regular egg roll just remove the shrimp roll from the bill. They ended up taking my eggroll and not letting me eat either one. My husband gave me his. I couldn't eat all my food and I don't like wasting food, so I asked for a take out box but never got that either. I will not be going back to the Golden Grill. The food isn't so good that I can overlook poor service and rude behavior."
