Avance Care North Wake Forest

"I had been a patient at another Avance Care location but started going here because it was closer. I was generally pleased with the level of care. On my last visit, I arrived before my appointment and waited over an hour and the PA I was supposed to see never came into the room. No one came in to tell me when he would see me so I left. I made an appointment at my prior location."

"First of all, I showed up before my appointment and waited an hour and 40 minutes before I was seen. I understand they were backed up with other patients which I was patient about but was feeling short of breath and wanted to be seen asap. The ladies at the front desk, Taylor & Jennifer were also not helpful as they both had an attitude while communicating with them via phone before I came in due to a prior issue. I have been coming to Advance care for about a year now and have never had an issue with Dr. Ivery and her team .. until I was seen by PA Tim. I told the MA that I was previously in the ER due to the same thing and found out I had some pneumonia. They did nothing with this information. He is very un thorough with his treatment. As an asthmatic, when I feel something in my chest I try to get ahead of it. This time I was very congested, tight chested and coughing up thick, green mucus so I decided to schedule an appointment. He did check my vitals and listened to my lungs, noticed I had some wheezing and mentioned he was going to refill my needed medication and send me on my way. That’s it. No breathing treatments, no in house medicine or usual plan of treatment. This to me is unacceptable and I will no longer be retuning to this office."

Our pediatrician, Kim Stabigas answered all our new parent questions in depth without making us feel like inadequate parents.
