"This is the first mental health wellness establishment that I’ve ever been to where I need a ‘nurse evaluation’ before my actual psych/medication evaluation appointment? It’s ridiculous. It makes me mad that I just can’t make an appointment for a psychiatrist on a day where the nurse’s evaluation is on— which would be convenient for me. I’ve been told two times where I’d log on to doxy for my appointment. And be told ‘Your appointment is tomorrow’ when I would think it was that DAY at that TIME. When I call customer service to reschedule an appointment they end up telling me it’s my nurse’s evaluation appointment that day. Which is stupid. Once you try to reschedule your appointment, they’re booked weeks out. Which is entirely inconvenient."
"Monarch has been a very valuable resource for mental health services, counseling and medications. The people who work there are kind, helpful and compassionate. After suffering for years from major depressive episodes that were medication-resistant, I found the right counselor (Stacy) and combination of meds to bring me out of the darkness. Thank goodness for Monarch!"
"During a time of crisis, and not able to wait to see a local psychiatrist, I was directed here. I walked in at 8am and waited 3 hours. The psychiatrist who was assigned to me quit and I wasn't notified until I called to cancel an appointment. They are not up front about bills and payments. After my first visit, I asked how much I owed and was told nothing. I knew that was wrong and asked again after my second visit, where I paid for both my first and second visit. I've since stopped going to Monarch, but now I'm getting bills from them in the mail months after the fact. And these bills are for the visits that I had previously paid for. A number is provided to ask questions, but every time I call nobody answers. I've tried to leave messages but it stops recording and cuts me off after a minute, and nobody ever calls me back. This is absolute bullshit."
