"I had an annual wellness check with Dr. Nisly. Later found there are duplicate charges on emotional assessment in the same visit. My insurance only covers one so I have to pay for the other. I called billing thinking this must have been a mistake. The billing told me I got charged twice because there’s a depression related question on the screening chart and Dr. Nisly asked if I was depressed during the visit. By the way I answered no to both questions. I told them charging twice for the same evaluation, especially when I had already indicated a negative response on the screening form, is not justified. The billing lady was sympathetic but there’s nothing she could do because she had to go by the provider’s note. It’s ridiculous."
"I was greeted almost immediately for both of my visits by a friendly person. The nursing staff and doctor have all treated me with respect, listened to my concerns, and answered my questions. Dr. Shah might be the nicest primary care physician I have ever met. 100 percent recommend this location."
"Do not recommend at all. If i could give zero stars i would. The staff was very nice, however the doctor was terrible. The doctor did not listen to me, berated me, and made me feel completely uncomfortable, judged, unsafe, cornered. I am sure the rest of the office and clients heard the entire conversation, so confidentiality is a joke here. This place is the reason I refuse to use DukeHealth providers and would rather payout of pocket for doctors i can trust. Do not go here."
"I went in for a wellness check up which was covered 100% by my insurance. My doctor was so busy that day complaining that she had so many patients to be seen and over worked, she didn’t have enough time to do breast exam, HPV, and Pap smear tests therefore she asked me to make another appointment to come back for the tests. That’s understandable and so I came back 3 weeks later for the tests that weren’t get done the first time BUT I was charged for the office visit as something else, not a part of wellness check. I like my doctor but the office management & it’s billing system are terrible. Also, one of the front desk representatives is quite rude with an unprofessional attitude."
"I had been a patient of Ms. Humphrey for over a decade. She became a trusted provider and health care advocate. Any fears that I had about my health, she quickly provided helpful information. She was an advocate for preventive health and even suggested several dietary changes that were effective! A few months ago, I received a MyChart message that my upcoming appointment had been cancelled. Soon thereafter, I received an email that she was no longer with the practice. I sent an email to the medical director expressing my frustration and disappointment with the way her departure was addressed with her patients. I received no response. I will take my health care elsewhere. What an interruption of experience!"
