"Lucca's Italian Chophouse ( formerly Angelo's) is located at 4924 Main St in Shallotte NC. Let me start with the staff. Very impressed with vast knowledge of each item on the menu. The management just didn't hire waiters and waitresses, they took the time to school them in the menu. Food, awesome, I didn't think you could make their pizza any better but they found a better tasting pepperoni to add to the pizza. It's the best pizza in the area. House Salad, fresh, veggies as always. The complimentary bread they give is better as well. This post is on 10/31/22, the staff said it's any day when they get their liquor license. The walls are stacked with many bottles of wine and the bar is also well stocked, just waiting to go. Take time to look at the photos I have posted and give them a like. Money well spent for a great meal. 10/26/2023, almost a year later and nothing has changed. It's all good is the best way to describe them. Stromboli and the Lucca pizza for us and they were outstanding. This is our favorite place to go to for a great pizza. If you find this review helpful please give it a like."

"Amazing meal and service! Most of us had the braised short ribs which were fabulous! And Candace, our server, was awesome! Very helpful with orders, checked on us often and brought me a birthday treat! And split the check for us for the birthday too. Awesome experience and we will be back!"
