UNC Urgent Care at Chatham Park

"We showed up to this location and the receptionist at the front desk turned away my infant child with a fever of 100°+ temp. Their reasoning was "we are about to close and and we have seen our limit of 7 people today". Mind you the door was not locked and they weren't closed yet. Wouldn't even take her temp there as "we would have to admit her if we check her temp." So we said "admit her then." He then proceeds to say "hold on I'll talk with the doctor and see what we can do." Comes back not even 30 seconds later saying "sorry we can't. We've already seen our limit of 7 people today." So if you have seen your limit for the day then why in the hell are you even there? Also the fact that the doctor didn't even look out or just poke their head around the corner to see at the condition of the child before refusing care. The care and safety of an infant is not a concern at this place. Clearly it isn't their concern compared to being able to close up and go home. Absolutely disgraceful and unprofessional. Hope they never are having medical issues and the people who could help them just say no sorry it's almost time for me to clock out, I'm not off the clock yet but it's too close for me to try to help you before I go as this is exactly what these people did to us. Wish I could leave a 0 star or less. Do better and be better!"

"I didn't bother to take pictures. I went in as walk in with bronchitis. Got there and was out in less than 45 minutes. They even let me wait in the car. Top notch and feeling better!"

"Lovely building and pretty rooms. The care is good, but the wait times are much too long. When waiting with a baby and toddler it’s just not feasible. Please hire another provider!"
