"Choose your doctor wisely. My daughter (and I) have been thrilled with Novant OBGYN until recently. Typically appts are with Laura Lenard. Laura is very knowledgeable, patient and really explains all your options in detail. I would highly recommend her. The office staff is great too. But in the Fall of 2022, Laura was out of the office the week my daughter was home from college and an appt was scheduled with Dr. Katie Vemireddy. To us, Katie seemed unsure of her recommendation and didn't display confidence in what she was saying to us. I would have rather she said I'm not sure and let's reschedule you with another. Both my daughter and I left the office confused about what just happened. We immediately called to set an appt with Laura. Same appt. type, same office but with Laura. During our visit, Laura was confident and we felt sure of her recommendation. She explained everything. Things you would do and not do. I will say Katie Vemireddy did recommend the same medicine that Laura did but Katie used the words that she "wasn't sure" and "maybe" this would be good. Trust with a doctor's recommendation is key. When calling for a second appt and mtg with Laura, we mentioned why we were back for the exact same medical concern. We felt like Katie Vemireddy wasn't very helpful nor confident in her recommendation. Choose your doctor wisely. Save time and money. I hope this helps others in the future."

"I have never been treated so badly in my life! My first appointment I was ridiculed and scolded like a child and then forced to reschedule the follow up appointment they made me make because they did not allow enough time in my appointment slot for my Nexplanon replacement when I showed up 8 minutes late (driving from Salisbury NC) and their policy says 10 minutes or later that you must reschedule. I'm not going to put any stigmas on why i was treated this way but I would not recommend this place to anyone other than a nun."

"Not satisfied, couldn’t be seen due to me being 5 mins behind. Generally speaking doctors offices grant you a 15 min grace period. Well this office did not. Grateful that one of the nurse tried to get me another appointment but the doctor declined."

"I had an appointment here for my annual and they told me I had a 10 min grace period. I checked in at 1:08pm. I sat there for 10 mins before she came back and said “the doctor said it’s her half of day she can’t see you”. I then asked can someone come out and talk to me because I was there within my grace period time. The receptionist was very nice but she came back and said “dr Frances R Koutsokalis, FNP said no she can’t see you”. Anytime I go here I see dr walls which is amazing and the best doctor their is. I wouldn’t see Frances ever again because clearly getting home on a Friday was her only concern and not the problem I came in for which I was on time for within my 10 min grace period."
