"I am sitting in my car before pulling off from my appointment with Candace, writing this review right now because this one could not wait! From the moment I stepped into her business, she made me feel the upmost comfort. So comfortable, that in that first minute of our introductions, I literally cried to her about my skin. As a woman of color whom also has had PCOS since very tender teenage days, my skin has been through the wire! Excessive facial hair growth, ingrowns, dark spots, you name it. Candace delegated a plan of care of how we’ll work together to get my skin healthy again, because remember, you have to do your part at home too! I drove over an hour and a half to Charlotte, NC from West Columbia, SC for her work and I am glad I did. She performed a Jessner peel on me today and provided me with aftercare products, instructions, and also her personal cell number so that I can check in first thing in the morning so that she can assess my peel. She insisted that I constantly send her updates and I plan to do just that - this is the kind of relationship that I searched to have in an aesthetician who really CARES about your skin. "I was blessed to be referred to Candace and had my first visit 11/10/21 and was so amazed! She was beyond professional, friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable concerning skincare. She discussed all of the issues I was having with my face and gave her suggestions and plan for putting me back on track to healthy skin.
