"Worst office I’ve ever encountered. My newborn baby was discharged from the hospital and I was fully aware that she had jaundice and needed to be seen asap. Well we were sent home Sunday saw the dr Tuesday morning. I repeatedly asked the dr to check her levels through a heel stick which she refused and stated my daughter looked fine. Took my son to be seen by her that Thursday and asked again if she could check my newborn’s bilirubin levels and again she said no because she looked fine. Took her to atrium pediatrics on Wednesday the following week and she was hospitalized because of her bilirubin levels being too high. Had the dr at kidzcare checked my newborn’s levels we would’ve avoided a hospital stay."
"HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! The only reason why I came to this location is because the location on 7th street closed down. We had an appointment scheduled at 1:15 PM and arrived at 1:10 PM. We walked in and stood at the front desk for a total of 7 minutes before the front desk staff walked into the building after shopping at the Family Dollar next door. My daughter was having issues I needed to get checked out and Kim did not see her but put a student in the room to assist. The student had no idea what she was doing and she clearly needed help. The student’s poor diagnosis of Strep was wrong after test results came back negative and her response was “Bummer”. It was like they were treating my child as a test dummy instead of providing expertise. Kim then barged into our room WITHOUT knocking almost hitting my knees and suggested a urine sample. When we went to the bathroom it was repulsive! Literally the filthiest bathroom I’ve ever seen in a providers office. It was so bad I told my child not to touch ANYTHING! Kim then diagnosed my child with a UTI and was trying to persuade me to believe this was true. I knew something was wrong based on my child’s symptoms so I took her to a trusted doctor for a second opinion the very next day. Behold, just as I thought she in fact DID NOT have a UTI after a urine culture was performed! Kim prescribed my child with antibiotics that would have made her symptoms even WORSE! They are careless, and only want to get the patient in and out! From that day I immediately switched her PCP and wanted to share my experience to caution other parents out there of what type of facility is being ran here. If you want the best for your child seek a different provider!"
"My children love coming to this office. I had 2 appointments on Monday afternoon and they were extremely busy but I was seen within an hour for both appointments. I was so impressed because of the way they were getting patients in and out was unreal. I would recommend this office to anyone that has a little one. They truly care about your child’s well-being."
"I was debating on if writing a review mattered…but if I don’t speak on what I experienced they will continue to provide terrible customer service. So let me be honest is saying that I was able to make a appointment within a short notice which was good! Then I was running behind for my appointment and upon calling to inform them of my ETA they agreed to see me still. Upon my 17 min late arrival they had me fill out paperwork which took less than 5 min to complete. Now when I had a arrived, there was already a family of 4 waiting to be called to the back. The mother seemed pretty antsy because she was pacing back and forth and from my view she appeared frustrated as if she had been waiting a long time. (First WARNING flag) Shortly after another family came in. The parent was NOT wearing a face mask so I waited to see if the receptionist/office staff would say anything after the lady proceeded to the waiting area without a mask (waiting area is very small and approx 15 chairs along the sides of the wall no way to be completely 6ft apart). I asked the receptionist could I wait in the car because I was not aware it wasn’t a requirement at this facility not to wear mask. She then gives the parent a mask to put on. (Second WARNING flag) Another family of 4 had came in and they were seen before me and my child and I had already been waiting patiently for 30 min. or more. When I asked about my status, I was told that they were working in teams in the back and someone would be with me. (Third WARNING flag) Then there was this staff member in the office who didn’t wear a mask and she was combing her hair one minute and then checking something on the computer the other office staff member messed up on (all this with the window opened). (Fourth WARNING flag)Then they opened the door y’all… now I have NOTHING against dogs we have one in our family! But when I saw the dog in the office, all I could do was think about leaving. There are kids who have allergies and y’all have a dog in the office??? I quickly called my normal office and rescheduled my child’s appointment. This is disappointing… I am seeking other pediatrician’s and even a family practitioner. I can’t do this! I’m trusting you with my child’s health and safety and I witnessed enough to where I had to make decisions for what’s best for my child. I think they can work on communication, transparency, safety protocols for all the virus we are combating, customer service training and office hygiene/cleanliness. Let’s be clear, it was really never the wait that bothered me until the longer I sat there the more I observed and my paranoia and PTSD kicked in."
"I highly recommend this clinic it's full of happy cheerful people. I love how this clinic has Spanish speaking personnel because we Hispanics are always struggling to say even the simple things like I need an appointment. A big thanks for all the healthcare team!"
