"I came to Advanced Physical Medicine after not getting a solution for my severe back pain, (not being able to sit or stand for long periods) after visiting urgent care. Urgent care just told me it was a strain, gave me muscle relaxers and sent me on my way. The muscle relaxers gave very little relief and just made me sleep but no change in pain. After not being able to tolerate the pain I began to google back specialist and found Advanced Physical Medicine! I got a thorough survey about my pain and saw Dr. Patel and he did an x ray on my spine. We discovered I had a herniated disc. He laid out a treatment plan for me and was confident that if I followed the plan, came to my appointments, & continued my PT after treatment I'd be able to get back in the gym and lifting how I was before. This made me confident as well. After finishing all my appointments he was right! I'm back in the gym and lifting pre-back pain. I'm so thankful I found this place! Dr. Patel urged me to continue my stretching and call if I had any issues in the future. I highly, highly recommend this place. The staff and Dr. Patel are all very nice and knowledgeable! I felt like I was in great hands!"
