"I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Rainbow! She is one of those doctors that actually listens and takes time with you during an appointment. I think my first appointment with her was over 45mins, longer than any other doctor has spent with me. You can tell she enjoys her job and helping people get better."

"This review is not about Dr. Rainbow personally as I have never met her. However, my husband did a lot of research to find me an appropriate doctor due to my sustaining a concussion. He made an appointment for me on-line which included all info on me (incl. my birthday of course) and what the issues were that needed to be addressed. The system accepted the appointment and sent me a confirmation. When I read it after office opened it appeared at first they made a mistake on the time of the appointment, so I called the office and spoke with a receptionist who quickly interrupted me and said "the doctor won't see you, we don't take patients over 59". REALLY? We both read enough about Dr. Rainbow to be impressed enough with her to choose her as the doctor to treat my concussion. There was nothing either of us saw that indicated an age limit of 59 (for God's sake, I'm only 65, not exactly geriatric)! We both read about her and another local doctor who dealt with concussions and agreed she'd be the best choice. I HAD AN E-MAIL CONFIRM and the receptionist said "oh, the system probably couldn't pick up on your year of birth". REALLY?? She then went on to say I had to call neurology or trauma & gave me a phone #. I asked if they had locations in Ballantyne and her answer was "you'll have to ask them". UNBELIEVABLE! So I called the # which was answered "hello"? No I.D. on who I'd reached, so I had to ask. Then I found out it was Atrium uptown (i.e. CMC Main). Girl hardly knew what she was talking about, so I told her the situation (she clearly didn't care) but they were located not far from where we lived years ago in Uptown. I asked her about Ballantyne locations & she knew nothing nor did she try to find out. On that note I don't recommend Dr. Rainbow as the staff and for the most part Atrium Health is enough to make anyone sicker than they already are. Got the impression Atrium Urgent Care nearby might be worth visiting, but they aren't capable of prescribing anything much beyond antibiotics from what I was told. I'm livid to say the least! +"

She made my daughter feel so comfortable during our family’s most difficult time. Dr Rainbow staff is amazing with the communication with their patients.
