Reviews
"I do not like to write negative reviews, however this needs to be stated. Note that the only positive reviews on this post are from employees. The negative reviews from parents are highly accurate. This felt a bit like a heart string scam from the initial meetings we had. Insurance doublespeak occurred from day one. Initially our treatments were to be fully covered, then once we got near treatment start date, the provider called and said nothing was covered by our insurance. Our options were to pay out of pocket, or loose our waiting spot in their system for our treatment. The provider then offered pre payment terms for a "block" for treatment services at a discount if we purchased ahead of time. (This seemed very unprofessional and odd at the time, looking back I am grateful we did not accept this offer). The administration constantly miss spoke rates, hours of service and billing rates. The office has poor internal communication, so document everything you say and commit to CAREFULLY. Parents if you try this route like we did, be cautious about any paperwork and go in gently till you are sure you are seeing results. We got in around 5k in just 2 months of light treatment before we managed to stop the train. I am sure they help some folks, but just make sure you are not emotionally jumping into this with no forethought like we did (to some extent). When you have a child with special needs you will do anything to find help....sadly there are people out there who know this and might take advantage of it. I paid my last bill today and I am glad this chapter of trial and error is behind me. As to the treatment, we did see initial positive results, the patient staff we worked with were actually good, especially the "in home" counselor they provided to us. The program relies on play time with a counselor as a reward for meeting goals which are set to be achieved. Its not magic, just parenting 101. You can probably do this yourself with patience and discipline. After the initial positive results the treatment plan becomes stale and hard to keep engaged for the kid. (at least in our case). Every case is different, so maybe your experience will be better than ours. A mentoring program is very similar to what this "treatment" seems to provide. We are looking into this and it appears a much cheaper and more manageable route."
"Please do not use this company they change therapist every week. The policy is they can be late with very little notice to service your child. However if your late they don’t have to service your child. They are not in the business of helping children with Autism. They consistently want you to fill out paperwork to be able to bill your insurance. Also every time they switch therapist goals aren’t reached. They are basically being paid to play games all day. Don’t walk run from this company."
"Every staff member is highly trained and caring. They go above and beyond to help my child reach his goals. I appreciate the patience and caring attitude from the therapists and staff. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for ABA for their child."
"I love Mosaic Pediatric Therapy. We treat every child with respect that comes through the door. We treat every child as if they were our on. We have on going training every month to make sure we are up on all the latest ABA techniques. This is not a career this is a calling. When a parent informs you that, because of the therapy you do with their child they've seen great improvements in their child's overall behavior, makes this the best job ever."
"Mosaic Pediatric Therapy aims to provide excellent services to clients of all ages and backgrounds. They work closely with parents and caregivers to ensure that all parties involved with the child are on the same page to maximize therapy services. It is MPT’s primary goal to provide a therapeutic environment that is individualized for all children, which is why all services are so personalized for both parent and child! The therapist themselves are so well trained and will move mountains for the kids! What an awesome community to be a part of!"
