"I’ve gone to this place for about 2-3 years and I loved going to them for a while. I liked my medication specialist and the original psychotherapist I had. But she ended up moving and so did the next two therapists that came and went. I liked them, they were helping me and never had to cancel an appt for whatever reason which is fine, I understand emergencies and getting sick. But the last therapist I had before I was just done with this place cancelled my appt three times in a row. The receptionist told me that she would call me back to set up my next appt after she had to cancel the second time, but she never called back. I had to call them to set an appointment again with her before she cancelled that one too. And my medication specialist changed once because the original one that I had, moved as well but the current specialist is an amazing doctor and I was able to make a connection with him. But the condition I saw him in today for my last ever appointment made me so damn mad. This poor man was moved into a lab room where normally the nurses go to get the supplies they need. He had a desk, laptop, chair and other essentials along with a patient chair. This room was so small and I felt so bad for him. No wonder some of their employees leave! My psychotherapists offices moved around a lot too. I won’t recommend this place to anyone. Go somewhere else for your mental health needs. This place is way too overcrowded for anyone else to be going here."
"Literally saving lives daily. The staff are devoted and compassionate. These poeople are educated and I am grateful for the services they offer. Sure it’s a process to be seen by therapists and Dr. in my opinion that is part of the learning process for people with addictions. Learning to follow through! Thanks to them all for jobs well done."
"You have to jump through hoops to get in with the doctor. And that is everytime you have to see one to get more medicine. Their record keeping is very poor (they didnt even know what medicine I was on, or the dose, or even that they had prescribed me the last month of medicine... they told me i should be out of medication already when i asked how to titrate off my meds and i had to fight with them and the lady had to go in the back 3 times before they finnaly told me how). They cancel appiontments a lot and almost never call to tell you and the few times they do call, they make the calls the night before your appiotment. Which is not good if you a trying to keep a job. My therapist though was a nice lady... but she along with whats seems like the rest of the staff are only there once or twice a week, just different days so they can keep the place open. And they are very tightly booked, I wouldnt be surprised if they over book just so they dont loose money or funding. I went there because i have acholism in my family and i wanted my therapist to understand that and the alanon meetings i go to, but the treated me like an addict and tried to label me as one too."
"God love em, but as a new person Into that whole situation . . It's very interesting. There was a lot of miscommunication, for a couple of times I thought I was seeing someone who could prescribe medicine, but I was sorely mistaken. The people that are there that you make appointments with are definitely qualified. So I should have given them a better rating. It's the process to see those people that is harrowing. And you know they probably do have A LOT to deal with on a daily basis. There's no way that's an easy stress free job. I am just not sure how long certain ones have been in the front job position, I don't know if it's lack of training or poor management or what, they just aren't a well oiled machine yet."
