Reviews
"Dr. Richard Toler is without a doubt the best ob-gyn Novant has. He listens to his patients with no judgment, has empathy and compassion. Honestly, it is hard to find a Dr. who cares for his patients. He has been my ob-gyn for years and I refuse to see anyone else as he is just the best."
"very friendly staff and Dr. Richard Toler is a godsend, has been my dr for yrs and treated me with the most respect. i feel my concerns and opinions matter and my husband respects that about him too."
"I was nervous since this was a new doctor but from the moment I checked in, everyone was very friendly and said I was in good hands. Dr. Thompson was calming, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. It was a very good experience."
"Dr. Bodenheimer was thorough and very good listener. He took time to explain medicines and solutions."
"Watch how they bill! They love to upcode and charge for visits when it's preventative care. EDIT after their 'response': I had my comprehensive history and review done by the GP in Novant's main office, was just sent to the GYN to replace my Mirena IUD. They scheduled it as a New Patient with Comprehensive History and Exam, AND charged the 'Specialist' fee instead of just billing as a IUD removal and insertion. They asked for a $60 copay and said I'd have to come back for the actual IUD procedure. This is nonsense, as there was no need for a comprehensive history and exam, that was already done by another Novant doc and in their system. They tried to say it's just how my insurance works. Nope. Planned Parenthood was able to replace that IUD in ONE visit, with preventative coding and a standard copay. And now they comment that they'd "love to help sort this out". Pshaw. See my other review of their regular practice. Upcoding is just what they do."
