My transition was up and down from hospital to this skilled facility, however once communication became better from myself and Staff . I highly appreciate and recommend this Skilled Facility. "Ms. Mooneyham, My sister Mandy and I went to Anson Health and Rehab on Friday to visit our aunt who has recently been admitted for rehab therapy. It has been a year since we have been to AH&R as we lost our dear, sweet mother in November of 2021. I'll be absolutely honest with you, it was extremely difficult for Mandy and me to walk through those doors; we knew the memories of the years we visited Mom and Daddy there would come rushing back. We prepared ourselves mentally for the experience of returning to AH&R to be heavy, overwhelming, and terribly sad for us. That didn't happen! As we signed in, you recognized us in the lobby and came over to us. You spoke of our parents fondly. You hugged us like family. That was so comforting. As we visited in our aunt's room, three members of your staff who had cared for Mom and Daddy recognized us and stopped to speak. They talked about our parents, how much they missed them, how our parents' names were mentioned almost daily at AH&R. They remembered how stubborn Daddy was and how incredibly sweet Mom was; they talked about the devotion our parents had for each other. I cannot begin to tell you how much this meant to Mandy and me. We, of course, remember our parents constantly, but to think that after a year, your staff still remembered them, too, was quite touching. We pulled into the parking lot on Friday fully expecting that our visit at AH&R would be a sad and depressing experience for us, but when we left, we felt warm, loved, and happy. "Great place to work!!! I have only had 3 jobs in my 20+ years in nursing and this Nursing Home is one of the best I have ever had. It is very clean. The CNAs are some of the best I have ever worked with. They work every hard for/ with our Residents to keep them safe and looking good! We have excellent nursing staff. I love our Residents and families we have here. The families and staff work so well together for the benefit of our Residents! Our Administration is caring and very fare to our staff. I hope to spend many years here at Anson Health And Rehab to finish out my nursing career!"
