Piedmont Urgent Care Center at Baxter Village

"Do not go here. Worst experience of my life. I woke up with the worst case on pink eye of my life. Extreme pain, swelling, pus, etc. I went here. I was prescribed eye drops and they refused to write me a hand prescription. I gave them the name and address of the pharmacy and was told by the practitioner that it was sent there. I arrived at the pharmacy and was told by the pharmacist that the prescription was not there. I then called the urgent care facility and was again assured they did send the prescription to the correct facility and told me to wait. Over one hour later my prescription was still not filled. I called the urgent care facility again and tried to tell them it wasn’t sent. I was treated was condescension and patronization annd interrupted, talked over, everything but helped. I begged them to just help. Eventually, I was hung up on. I called back in tears. Look at the photo. I was in extreme pain with pus coming out of my eyes, malaise and sore throat. no one was empathetic and only treated me like I was a loser for showing any amount of concern. It turns out the prescription had actually been sent to the wrong pharmacy by the facility and if I had not checked up I would never have gotten it. They never apologized for their negligence nor did they treat me any differently. No one should have to put up with this when they’re sick and alone, and can barely see trying to drive around and get their medication."

"My son feel ill and couldn't get a pediatrician appointment fast enough, so I made an online appt to this urgent care. We were seen promptly (within 10 minutes of the designated time) and both the nurse and the nurse practitioner were great. The nurse practitioner was very personable and great with my son. Very pleased with the care received. Thankfully not Covid..."

"It’s all about “Covid” you refuse a test (because ultimately they’re not making any money off you) you get no help! All that exists these days is Covid all other flu’s and colds no longer exist. Waited 5 days and went in with a cough and congestion most likely a sinus infection at this point (based on the obvious). No prescription…since I refused the Covid test the PA couldn’t be sure of what it is since “Covid shows itself as a cold”. It’s a joke I’m so over our healthcare system!"

"Refused a covid test because I went in for a sore throat an cough, the PA said well then why are you here ? I repeated I had a sore throat an cough. She looked at me an shook her head. I tested positive for strep throat. Not impressed with their customer service at all. She had on 2 mask the Dr had a shield an a mask, the lady who brought my work excuse had nothing on. There are other illnesses than covid. Maybe those test reimburse more."

"This has been our favorite local urgent care for years now. At our Pediatrician's office, we often can't get same day sick appts then we come here and barely even have a wait. The doctor's are great and have always been super helpful. Definitely recommend!"
