School of Skilled Trades

The School of Skilled Trades, located at 1440 South Briggs Avenue in Durham, North Carolina, is a student-focused institution dedicated to providing hands-on training in the field of plumbing. Our labs are equipped with tools and equipment that students will use in real-world scenarios, preparing them for successful careers in the industry. Our experienced teachers not only teach plumbing skills, but also emphasize the soft skills necessary for professional success.

Founded by licensed plumbers Neil Devlin and Matthew Vanderwalker, the School of Skilled Trades is a non-profit institution licensed by the North Carolina State Board of Community Colleges. With decades of experience in the plumbing industry, our founders are dedicated to providing high-quality education and training to aspiring plumbers.

As we begin operations, our team, led by Mr. Devlin and Mr. Vanderwalker, is committed to helping students succeed in their chosen field.
