"As a new patient, they did pretty much nothing right. I had to be called back because they didn't draw enough blood for the blood panel which required me driving 20 minutes back out the next day. When I returned, I commented that I never heard anything about the my prescription. The lady at the front desk said that she would contact the doctor and have them call in the prescription like she shouldn't have already done it. And, after not hearing anything from them after a week, I called probably 5 times, left a message on the nurse line and never got a call back. I used the patient portal (if you can call it that) to leave a message there. I got a response but it did not include the results of my tests, only the visit summary with a few glucose related tests. I don't believe they had any intention of calling me to talk through my tests with me or even sending them to me for my review. I had to hound them to finally get everything that I paid for. I was given no indication that the doctor wanted to see me back. The doctor herself was nice, but she appeared to have shoes that were on fire with how fast she left. She also asked me back-to-back questions about when I wanted to be pregnant after clearly indicating I struggle with infertility. I navigated around that question by saying I want to be healthy so that I CAN get pregnant. As someone that works solely with women, you would think there would be some sensitivity around questions about pregnancy. I think people in this industry forget that they are not providing a voluntary service out of the goodness of their hearts, but are providing a service to people who pay a lot of money for proper medical advice. And, like most doctors I've seen, she seemed to lack a lot of knowledge around alternative solutions to PCOS (even the most common supplements on the market). I understand that supplements aren't regulated like drugs, but I'm tired of doctors basically being a pharmacy. This is a long post, but I'm just really disappointed in this organization and was hoping I would finally have a good experience with an OBGYN."
"What a great group of people! I was not a patient of record however they were able to get me in for a quick visit today. I had an appointment at 1:30pm. Arrived a few minutes early to fill out paperwork and was out at 2:15pm. The front desk girls were great and engaged me in humorous conversations that made me feel a bit more comfortable for an OBGYN appointment. Shannon was my nurse who comforted me even further assuring me that I was in great hands and finally I saw Dr. Peeden who was a gem. She was very kind and addressed my concerns thoroughly. For a first time visit, I’d say everything went above and beyond my expectations and I will be going back. Thank you girls!!"
"I've been going here for almost 2 years now. Dr. Peeden took my Nexplanon out and that's the whole reason I even went to this office in the first place. The second appointment I had was about birth control because I wanted off of Depo, but she just wasn't listening. She refused to give me pills and shot down every reason I had. She introduced the idea of the IUD but when I decided I wanted to do it (which was months later at my yearly exam. That's when I talked to her about it again) she wouldn't do it for me and told me to rethink it. I wasn't a fan of her, but some people really like her. She's one of my friend's doctors and she loves her. I guess to each their own. But I decided I do want the IUD so I called the office (which I love every person in the office staff. They're all so nice and we always end up having just little random and funny conversations when I arrive and as I leave) and told them I no longer want Dr. Peeden as my doctor and they were super nice and scheduled me with Dr. Mabe. He put my IUD in and he was very nice and made the experience honestly not a bad one. It was painful, but it really wasn't that bad because he carried a conversation with me the whole time, told me what to expect, and calmed me down really well before the procedure. I knew what to expect the days and months after insertion because he told me and explained it to me really well. A month later during my checkup, I got an ultrasound for the IUD and the tech was amazing and nice. She showed me what she was seeing and made sure I was comfortable with everything she was doing. I also have been having to go to NP Lana Still for some issues and she is AMAZING. I truly feel happy to talk to her and I usually hate doctors appointments. She listens and it seems like she actually cares. She called me and my mom randomly to go over something that she thought might help me better because she was talking to another doctor about the issue as well. I just thought it was very nice for her to call me for advice instead of waiting until I had to come back to the office when the first thing didn't work. Everyone here is great. I really do enjoy it. Me and my mom both come here and have never had any problems (besides my one, but everyone there was super nice and understanding about it). I read some reviews and I noticed they were from a WHILE ago. I still can't believe people had those experiences and I hate they did. But I really do recommend this place. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Mabe and when you need to speak to a nurse for a problem like a UTI, having NP Lana Still. I haven't met other doctors besides Dr. Peeden, but I'm sure they're great too. I definitely recommend it!!!"
"This is the worst office I’ve ever visited for health reasons. Ultrasound tech was rude and rushed me. Came in before I was covered up and opened the door before i was fully dressed. She wouldn’t explain anything to me that we were seeing. Didn’t even give me pictures. Then the lab lady taking my blood was super nice but she seemed to not know what she was doing . I’ve never had issues giving blood. Then they lost my labs where i gave my blood. I live 1 hour away and i chose this office because i had heard so many good things. That’s why I’m so upset about how i have been treated here."
"First off, I have seen Dr. Peeden myself, and she is great! However, I took my pregnant daughter in to see Dr. Traver and the experience was not a good one. She was abrasive. She did no pelvic exam, no ultrasound, never set up the referral appt to their high risk OB that she said my daughter needed. To top it off, over a week later, my daughter went to pick up a copy of the blood work they had done and found that she had a positive urine culture - no one bothered to call and tell her she had a UTI. That's unacceptable."
