"My mother has seen Dr Dy for many, many years. We have always had a good relationship with his office. However, yesterday was a different story. My mother lives on a fixed income. She has Medicare and a supplemental insurance. She never has to pay for visits or hospital stays. Mind you, she owed his office $0. We went yesterday and they said that there was a $150 copay for Medicare. I told them she wasn't prepared to pay that today. They refused to see her and to her medical needs and wanted to reschedule!!! I know the deductible is a Medicare thing and can't be helped. But them refusing to see my mother and seeing to her medical needs over a $150 deductible is unacceptable. I will be filing a formal complaint against his office. Since when, in this country are the elderly denied basic medical needs due to lack of funds!!"

"This practice only cares about your money, not your health They will deny services even if other dr/drs have ordered them to care for you. I definitely don't recommend."
"Honestly so upset with the PA at CrossRiver Cardiology. Dad went in for his appointment to get a treadmill test to see what has been going on with his chest pain. I was facetiming my step mom just like we do every appointment. Only one of us can go in due to the pandemic, so we facetime each other so she can know what is going on as well. I have never been told to put my phone away or to not be facetiming. The doctor and PA have even waved at my step mom before and talk to her about his medications while I was on facetime. The nurse got him hooked up to ekg and was putting him on the treadmill when the PA came in said hello to dad, did not even talk to me at all, and went out of the room. Dr Dy came in and told me I needed to leave the room and I was not allowed in there during the test. I went out to the car where my step mom was and waited. My dad comes out five minutes later, shaking and VERY UPSET. Once i had left the room, the nurse had told him she did not know what was going on because I am allowed to be back there during the test. The PA came back in the room and dad asked him why was I told to leave the room and the PA said that because I was videoing and It has clearly been a problem in the past. Dad explained to him no one had ever told us that it was not allowed and that if he would of told me to put my phone away I would of, that he didn’t have to kick me out. The PA said well it’s a problem. Dad told him he didn’t like his attitude and the guy just stood there. Dad told him he didn’t think he wanted to do this today that he was already shaking and very angry about this. The guy just said well and walked out. The nurse and front office staff apologized continuously to my dad. My dad is supposed to be trying to not get upset so his heart don’t go in afib and his blood pressure go up. I work at a doctors office, and that is not how you treat patients. My step mom went back in there to see what was going on and why it was a problem and the PA didn’t even want to come talk to her nor did he ever apologize. COMPLETELY DISRESPECTFUL."
