"Met with the rudest women in health care I have ever experienced. I mean talk about diminishing someone’s medical issues. I cannot believe they let this lady we met with deal with patients. I came in with a teenager and she acted like unless a TEENAGER knew every fact about her medical history she was going to be rude. Appalled cannot believe it."
"A couple days ago I brought my sick daughter to the ER at around 5:30am. If a parent is bringing their sick child that early in the morning the last thing they want to feel is not welcomed. The young blonde girl with a nose ring in doing check out check in was the worst! She had a stank face on from the moment I walked up to her desk. When asking why we were there, you can see her typing the information I was giving her with such disgust. I really hope the hospital really reads these reviews because why would someone allow someone to work in THE ER of all places and not have a professional attitude. I felt like I was the one BOTHERING HER! she was about to finish and I was the one that had to ask if she was going to need my insurance card and information. The whole time the other older lady next to her was just shrugged working on her computer. After all that was over I was really regretting getting called back but but thankfully the nurses and doctor in the back had a great attitude and made sure my daughter was taken care of."
"I came in today because I have Covid. I’m going to go ahead and tell it how it is since my time was completely wasted and I wasn’t able to be seen or treated. I waited two and a half hours sitting in this ER waiting to be seen. I did not get seen or treatment. Along with my fiancé who was also waiting to be seen who was having stomach pain he didn’t get treatment either. They are very unprofessional. I will never come back here. We were asked to seat our selves and a young lady would call us up to be checked in. We only made it through check in and to get our vitals taken in triage and sent back out to the waiting area with blood pressure cuffs still attached to our arms. As a healthcare worker myself I pay attention to everything. While we waited this two and a half hours in the ER. We were repeatedly skipped in line and overlooked by nurses and the registrar. When another elderly woman asked how long the wait would be I politely asked after patiently waiting two and a half hours and being repeatedly skipped .As me and the elderly woman had been waiting around the same approximate time. I was told as stated “ Idk I’m not able to see the patient order”. As if that is an acceptable answer not an I apologize for the wait let me check and see for you. Now I understand there are medical emergencies and some are more serious than mine and others. That require immediate attention. But I paid attention to how white people were coming in after me and checking in after me and being called back immediately before me to be seen and did not have to wait nearly as long as i did who had some of the same symptoms as me …who did not have appointments either.I’m going to call it out when I see it because I was patient and I sat there and watched it happen. It’s unethical and it is wrong. I do not appreciate my time being wasted and being overlooked because of the color of my skin. The registrar walked up to people and picked who would be seen next by nurses and doctors. It’s very unprofessional and it is racist and yes I said it!! If you are a minority go elsewhere to seek treatment because you will be repeatedly skipped over. There’s no telling how long we would have been there had we not left and went else where to get treatment. Oh and I had to drive from davie because they moved the hospital up here to Bermuda run. While other people drove from statesville arriving after me and were seen before me. It’s ridiculous never again and yes I called you all out and imma always tell it how it is and please send me anything asking about how the visit went because I’m going to tell y’all about yourselves on there too and that’s a promise.I’ve worked in urgent care and many other places. It’s clear you all lack professionalism and common sense and do what you wanna do. No one offered to help us and yes I over heard you saying you didn’t know the order and that you had people who already had checked in and had been waiting for two hours to the nurse!!Just unprofessional. Everyone should be seen in the proper order outside of medical emergencies that’s common sense which you clearly lack ."
"If I could give the ER a 0 I would. I am very pregnant and was there to get my very sick 1 year old and myself checked out. My husband stayed in car with my daughter bc it was so crowded, no seats to sit in and she was throwing up, rash all over and screaming. She is also special needs so a lot of people and sitting is something she cannot do. They refused to let me check her in after waiting a half hour+ to check in with me bc she wasn’t physically in the building and refused to wait 5 seconds for my husband who you can see sitting in car through window to check in and said that they would put her at end of the line which about 15 people were waiting after me. Absolutely ridiculous! They also had a small child in there in severe pain with part of her finger cut off bleeding and just slapped a fall risk thing on her arm bc “she may be dizzy from losing a lot of blood” and told her to get comfortable it may be a while. NEVER AGAIN."
"Is been 7 hrs of waiting, nurse in charge Summer is deciding who is the next person to be seen. Worse plan ever, I understand priorities but if a flu and people in wheelchairs is priority then my daughter’s pain cause by a mass in her breast is not in that list to be seen!!! At least a cordial notification to come back in another day will be better that wasting my time waiting for long hrs and still don’t know if I going to get to be seen. Horrible service… all my high 5 start of this place just drop to 0. Note: I can’t rate 0 star and I already have been here long enough for shift change. Recommendation: next time you can take your “criteria of priority” 3 at the time them 1 none in your “criteria” and so on… make it fair for everyone because we all go there because we need help not for fun, I saw one person with an emergency that need to be seen immediately because he cut himself with a chainsaw … that is a priority… I saw a lady that could make an appointment for the coming week but decided to go there because they told her that she can go there if she want to do it earlier… guess what? She wait less then 1 hr that my friend was not a priority she was not in discomfort or and any rush to be seen she just was looking for an appointment. By the way my terrifying 15 yrs old daughter that have this mass and can sleep, is pressing on her and feeling shooting pain was not your priority. Thanks for nothing. She was in so much discomfort that I asked the nurse about when will be seen and how long we have be waiting and she reply I’m sorry we doing the best we can, she don’t know and is base in severity…WTH I saw that room getting full again so I took my daughter home after 7 hrs of waiting."
