Bethany Medical at Mt. Airy

"I would give zero starts if i could! I made an appointment for a physical, from the moment i stepped into the office the receptionist was rude!!! Then i get to the back to a DIRTY room!! After that im told well we cant do your physical because your not a patient and we dont know anything about your medical history…I proceed to tell them that im having surgery Thursday for a broken foot & i need this physical before i can have surgery ( i told them this prior to making the appointment ) & i asked them why did they even schedule me if they werent even going to see me !!! then the nurse or whatever she was said she would be right back that she would ask the dr. I then hear the nurses talking about me loudly in the hallway saying “ you cant just walk up in here thinking your going to get a physical and we dont even know you ) so the nurse comes back on the room saying they probably cant do it & i say thats fine i ‘ll just leave. Then she says okay be right back! The i hear her tell one of the nurses that im leaving & the other one says “ GOOD SHE NEED TO LEAVE “ thats when i lost it & just busted out of the room saying yall scheduled this appointment saying yall could do my physical!!!! Its not like i just walked in here!!! I have never been treated so rudely in all my life!!! Afterwards I literally just sat outside and cried i was so mad!!!!! DONT GO HERE!!! They are very rude"

"My husband and I have been going to Bethany medical for almost 2 years yes we are on suboxen well he is trying to get his CDL he had appointment and everything for a DOT physical he got there and they said Dr. Sherry Hinson don’t feel comfortable doing it since he on suboxen mine you she prescribe it to it just a damn joke if you ask me. And he shows up for them to say we left you a voicemail and they did not. We see Daniel every month for our medicine and he is amazing but she is a damn joke!! You don’t feel comfortable in doing a DOT physical because of the medication you prescribe what a joke …,"

"Daniel is a great doctor. It's the front desk staff that I'm concerned about. Because every time I call they are very rude to me. And they don't want to help me with any accommodations. I really wish they would be nicer and understand my situation as well. I drive almost 2 hours away to see Daniel. And it would be nice to do Telehealth so I wouldn't have to drive so far. The front desk staff was really rude to me. The last time I called about my medications. And I told them about my driving situation.. They didn't care or show any sympathy for me. Or even try to get any help for me with the situation.. But when I look at other locations, they actually accommodate for distance. I really want to keep seeing daniel but in this situation it's hard"

"For a walk in clinic they never have any available appointments. Don’t have a death in family and have to be out of town and miss your original appointment. They will make you go over a week without your medication. Not to mention every one of the women who work the office are rude on the phone and hang up on you. I can about guarantee I will not get the call back from my doctor nurse. Like I asked. Not only did I need to be seen for my refill on my medication I also have a VERY BADLY INFECTED TICK BITE WITH THE TICK HEAD STILL IN MY ARM. Have no appointments for 6 days. By then I’ll have Lymes or Rocky Mountain spotted tick fever. If your going to go in for a walk in appointment like they advertised good luck….."
