"Went here in 2017, just now in 2022 I am learning that they put a collection out on me for a bill I paid in full when services were rendered back in 2017 by checking my Equifax. They never sent me any notices in the mail or tried to call me. After seeing some of these other reviews it looks like this is normal practice for them and is malicious and unprofessional. Avoid this place at all costs, if you get a referral to go here ask to be sent somewhere else."

"I have tried calling them over and over. I have left messages to return my phone call. I went to Harmony and something was sent off to the Pathology Associate of Boone. I never received a bill and was unaware of any bill from them. I was notified by a creditor that they had turned in my $90 bill to a collection agency. I am so upset and very displeased with the whole situation!"

"I went to Harmony.. was very confused when I see I have an overdue bill by 2 years from Pathology Associates. They sent me one piece of mail and have never tried to contact me over the past 2 years. My bill was for $70... I think I could have a found a way to pay that in last 2 years and that maybe I just wasn't aware that I owed them any money. I obviously was not getting the notification that I owed money and maybe this company needs to get up off of their asses and call someone to inform them they have an overdue balance."

"Went to Harmony Health for an appointment, part of the appt required post-appt work from Pathology Assc. of Boone. NOBODY told me that there would be an additional bill for one appointment for a company I had never even heard of or spoken with. Pathology Assc. sent one letter via snail mail notifying me of a bill. I assumed this had been a bill for Harmony that was waiting for insurance to process. A month later I get a letter from a collections agency for a charge from this company (I had no idea what company this was). Called Pathology Assc. asking what is was for and why this hadn't been added to the Harmony bill or why I was NEVER contacted other than through a bill in the mail. Was told (by a really unpleasant employee) that "We don't make phone calls". So because: 1. Watauga Medical system is so slow to progress that they can't wrap their heads around a single unified billing system 2. nobody told me I would have a 2nd bill from a company I had never heard of 3. Watauga Medical system is so behind the times they can't call or email their clients when mail fails to warrant a response I now have to be concerned about my credit being altered. SO unprofessional. I will not be using this company or ANY under the watauga medical branch again. I'll just head down the mountain."
