Reviews of AppOrtho
"Nurse Practitioner, Timothy Brisbin was fantastic with our ten year old. Very informative and went out of his way to make him feel comfortable. Great bedside manner!"
"Both of my shoulders were injured while in the military. When I retired, I decided to have surgeries on both shoulders. Dr. Parker performed both surgeries and I’m 100% pain free with full range of motion."
"Dr Trate is without a doubt the MOST caring physician we have ever encountered. The time she takes and the professionalism she displays builds comfort and trust for her patients. She has personally been a literal Godsend to my wife who has suffered chronic migraines for over 40 years. She administered nerve blocks to the base of her head that have all but ended my wife’s pain. She patiently explained each procedure and how it would affect her. Our community and your medical team are very fortunate to have her."
"I had previously been a patient at this practice a few years ago, and was referred there again by my primary care physician. I had to wait several weeks for an appointment. I arrived at the office 10 minutes before my appointment time, at check in I was told I would need to complete the “new patient paperwork”. Had this need been mentioned to me before by the scheduler, I would have requested the forms ahead of time and brought the completed forms with me. I was advised that the doctor, Dr Anderson would be told that I had checked in at the office and was filling out my paperwork. I apparently missed my “appointment” while filling out all of the new patient paperwork, though nothing was said to me at the time. I was taken to an exam room, where I was advised that the doctor had requested a new X-ray. That was completed within 10 minutes. Then I waited in the exam room. For nearly 3 hours. Because apparently Dr Anderson decided to see me as his last patient of the day, just after 5pm. Ostensibly because of my delay with the paperwork. A rushed exam lasting only a few minutes, and I was advised that a cortisone injection was the best option for me. Then Dr Anderson administered the injection and left the room. I was given paperwork to schedule an appointment for physical therapy. And that I wouldn’t need to “check out”. I was the last patient to leave the office, and most of the employees had already left as well. I can’t recommend this practice or Dr Anderson. The administrative side apparently doesn’t have a clear understanding of when an established patient of over 8 years suddenly becomes a new patient and wastes time to complete paperwork which they should have already had. And then hours of extra time of the patient is wasted by waiting for the doctor to decide to evaluate my orthopedic problem. Then rushing through the appointment. I did attempt to schedule an appointment for physical therapy as recommended. It’s a seven week wait to see a physical therapist. Never again. Going back to the quality care received from OrthoCarolina."
"They really need to do better with waiting times. Over an hour wait and people being called before us when we asked we were told that the main doctor was in on that day so he takes up most of the rooms. Every patient should be treated as equally important. The care from Loretta has been great. The first day we went medication was never sent to the pharmacy and we could not get a response until the next day which meant an extra night of being in pain. So yes care is good but the way the appointments and messages to doctors is ran can use improvement."
