"My son and I both began flight training with Aerowood Aviation, after doing pretty extensive due diligence. Aerowood offers a great flight training program. Our flight instructor, Matt McFaden is phenomenal and has thus far made our experience next level positive. Matt’s calm demeanor, depth of knowledge, and his ability to explain and teach flight skills makes him top shelf. The questions I always ask are: 1. If you were starting over, would you do it again? My answer is yes 2. Would you choose this provider again? My answer is yes, but I would also want Matt McFaden as my instructor as part of the package. 3. Would you do anything different. So far, my answer is no. If that changes I’ll update the review"

"I have been flying since 1990 and for a time (10 years) owned an aircraft. I stopped flying about 5 years ago but in 2020 decided to resume. 9-11 then the financial crisis of 2008 decimated flying schools. The comeback has been slow, but flight training and rentals is going strong. Of all the flying establishments I've used over the past 31 years, this is the best managed. He runs a good business in that you can pick the price point you want. My price point is $200/hour and that gets me a nice Arrow. Scheduling and checking out the plane is ridiculously simple and refreshingly pleasant. I just wish they had some HP planes in Rock Hill."

"I wanted to take a "Discovery Flight," I decided to go with Aerowood Aviation as their modern website was transparent and offers all of the information that you need. This includes a moderately sized list of airplanes along with the hourly rate, shall I pursue my private pilot's license. Everyone in the office was relatively friendly, and David was a knowledgeable flight instructor. The flight was awesome as I controlled the airplane for much longer than I anticipated...and it's safe to say that I have been bitten by the bug.
