"Attended Mac Browns Guide School in April of last year. Fantastic experience. This is not a simple 5 day, cookie cutter type of program. If you are just looking for a diploma and an entry level job with a big outfitter, this probably isn't the school for you. If you really want to learn how to teach, how to cast, how to become a truly well rounded guide this course is a great start. Mac has such a depth of knowledge that he clearly enjoys sharing with the next generation of fly fishers that you can't possibly learn it all in one week. It's hard to know what you don't know and Mac and his team work with you to tailor a plan for you to improve and build on along your path to becoming a guide. Mac was very generous with his time answering questions after the work day and in the time since the class too. I have been working on the skills and techniques we went over in class and plan on returning next year to retake the class once I have a little more experience under my belt."
