Our kids are so happy and the teachers/staff are genuine and loving. School is very clean with lots of learning activities in and out of the classroom. "DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE I’ve written reviews for BBM before, but ignore them. We sent our daughter here from Fall 2021-last week, and I’m incredibly thankful she’s starting Kindergarten (we would’ve pulled her out, regardless). We used to give BBM rave reviews and recommend them to everyone, but they quickly went downhill this Summer. I could type a novel of grievances, but do yourself a favor & look up their latest State Visit on the DHHS website. The findings are quite interesting. 1- There is basically no director at the moment, and ZERO communication 2- The turnover rate is INSANE 3- Always out of ratio 4- They’ve been in trouble for hitting students We’ve really loved a handful of teachers, and there are still a couple left that we’ve adored. But trust me when I say the staff is a revolving door. READ THE STATE FINDINGS BEFORE ENROLLING! Trust me (signed, former preschool teacher and mom of 2)"

"For months I struggled finding a daycare center that I was comfortable with that met all of my child needs. I came across Big Blue Marble spoke with the director and set up a tour. I immediately fell in love with the center. I was concerned why my 18 month old didn’t talk much or liked to interact socially with other children. My son has been going over a month now and I’ve seen so much growth he uses his words more than I’ve ever heard before and is now playing with the other children. Aside from that the staff is AMAZING! and it’s so hard finding great daycare nowadays that will care for your children the way we as parents do. Thank you Big Blue Marble We really appreciate you"

"I love the Waxhaw location of Big Blue Marble Academy! Mrs Julie the Director is very professional and and personal with each child. The staff is all amazing and make you feel like family. Every time we come in the morning everyone greets you and your child by name . The curriculum is great as well , I feel like my daughter has advanced so much while being here. I recommend this location to everyone I speak to . Keep up the amazing work ! :)"
