"I have had a kid in Ivybrook since 2020 and will until 2026. This past year all 3 of my kids were there and I am genuinely sad my oldest is heading off to kindergarten and won’t be able to see his favorite teachers everyday. I am thankful we found this school I don’t even know where to begin in talking about them. The staff is phenomenal! The principal Ms Jessica is pure sunshine, she communicates, is open and you can tell she is passionate about what she does. Teachers don’t leave. They seem to love being there and it shows. They all have their unique specialaities whether it’s Science and encouraging kids to explore, or communication and confidence and helping kids become comfortable with themselves and in the classroom, to arts and crafts and even Spanish. It’s like a small family full of people you genuinely feel comfortable leaving your children with. My heart is full when my preschool aged kids come home and are excited to tell me about their day. Even in car line you will see teachers you have never had but they all know your children by name. I cannot recomend this school enough."
"Both of my children attend IvyBrook and have or will attend for their entire preschool experience. The administration and teaching teams are so hands on and LOVE their jobs and the kids. It's such an enriching experience for the kids and the parents. The curriculum is customized to your child and is a great balance between kids playing and being kids and learning."
"Great people. Our kids love it"
"Highly recommend Ivybrook Academy in Waxhaw! We just finished our first week of summer camp here and my three year old son LOVED going everyday. Not to mention they have a super convenient car-line pickup and dropoff system, all the teachers are so sweet. We are looking into their preschool options starting in the fall as well."
"Ivybrook preschool is a one of a kind establishment. I currently have two children that attend Ivybrook, and will be sending our third there as well. From the incredibly approachable and helpful staff to the outstanding college-educated teachers, I could not ask for a better place to send my kiddos. My oldest, who had a very tough time transitioning into school at 3, now asks to go to school on the weekends. Ivybrook follows the Reggio Emilia approach to teaching children, one method I encourage you to research if you haven't already. The classrooms are inviting and filled with highly educational toys that promote self discovery. I honestly and truly feel my children are loved and safe while at school, which I think we all would agree is the most important factor at this young age. The collaboration between the teachers and the parents for on-going life learning is evident each and every day."
