"I recently called about getting a tattoo of some Roman numerals on my ankle. The owner asked what it meant and I told him it was my dad's death date. He then told me that my body was not a tombstone and that I don't want to think of my dead dad every time I look at my tattoo. He also said many people regret getting birth dates and death dates. 1. It is none of his business to know the meaning behind a tattoo-many people get something that is deeply personal and meaningful to them. We are all unique and have different values. Just because he personally would not get it, it doesn't mean that he should tell me not to. 2. He had no idea what my religious beliefs were. I would see my tattoo and be reminded that this was the last day he suffered (as he had a degenerative disease) and that he is now in heaven. 3. He repeatedly called me ma'am. I happen to use she/her pronouns but it's 2023-we should be able to have a conversation with a stranger without assuming their gender identity. I have no idea how his art looks but if you do not want to be tattoo'd by someone who is judgmental and narrow-minded, I recommend going elsewhere."

"Had a great experience here, really enjoyed the out come of my tattoos. It was really easy to get a consultation and to get scheduled for the work. I wanted to worked with Grace, so walking in is not something I was interested in doing. Grace really helped me with making my tattoos come to life (she helped with the concept). Honestly can’t wait to gEt more with her; I just need to think of what! Great work was able to see some other artists work while I was there. I really liked the design of the studio and the tattoo shop, surprised how easy it was to find a parking spot in broad ripple."
