"My children were so excited to do this and figured an indoor mine would be open in the winter, hence it being indoors. Online hours stated open but completely closed with no sign on the door. Another family pulled up at the same time with the same frustration. It's very easy to update hours online. Wasted our time and upset kids. Will adjust this review or delete if I get an appropriate owners response."

"The owner seemed like a very nice guy, unfortunately he practices bad business. We ordered a ring from him and never received it! It is almost impossible to get ahold of him and when we finally did he claimed he mailed it and was no longer his problem, it has been 3 months now. Definitely don’t recommend!"

"Totally dissatisfied with this place. We bought 2 buckets/bags of sand. Found a couple little rocks. Would not recommend or go back here. Was excited after finding gems in Linville back in July so we wanted our grandkids to experience the fun and find them too. I can find more in our beach sand here at home. Wasted $30.00 on this place."

We got a lot of awesome stones in our buckets & the owner gave us a big chunk of our birthstone! They’re also really knowledgeable about the stones, they can tell you what every stone you get is. It’s really fun just seeing what ya get :)"

"My family had a lot of fun. The 3 kids split a medium bucket and got a lot of gems between the 3 of them. The owner gave them each a birthday gem! The owner is very generous and welcoming and seems to really care about the kids experience! Also, dog friendly! Highly recommend!"
