"I was very happy with this agency until my last renewal. My car insurance went up a substantial amount. I spoke to 2 agents and I was advised to take an online course and submit my daughters transcripts and my rates would be lowered. To this day I have not seen a reduction in my rate. I’ve sent a couple of emails. I received a response letting me know I should see the rate reduction in 2 or 3 days…I haven’t seen a reduction as of this date. I sent a follow up email and haven’t even received a response to that. I suppose it’s time to move on."
"I had no issues until I cancelled my policy. I called to inquire the process for cancelling my policy. Danielle was polite, explained the process and stated I just needed to email her confirming I wanted to cancel my policy. She informed me that they would prorate the amount owed and would notify me of the amount. Two days later I received an email, same email I get every month with the amount owed. My account was set up for autopay so I just looked at the amount and moved on with my life. To my surprise I came home from vacation to a collections letter! Since it was after hours I called the 1800 number only to be notified my payment did not go through because my auto pay was no longer active once I cancelled the policy. No one mentioned this when I cancelled. And because of this important piece of information that was left out I was sent to their collections agency for $52. I called this morning (7/6) to see if there was anything that could be done after making the payment. The male that I spoke with was extremely rude and stated "we sent a bill, if you had paid it you wouldn't have been sent to collections". I get that BUT no one thought I was weird that someone like myself who has ALWAYS made payments on time hadn't paid a measly $52??? No second statement was sent. Nothing. They send one bill and then send you over to collections. I am sure they have a large number of customers but simple phone call would have been great before sending me to collections. I will not be recommending anyone to this agency after this experience."
"The female who answered the phone and gladly too my payment REFUSED TO GIVE HER NAME. OR TELL US WHETHER OR NOT WE WOULD BE GETTING ANY KIND OF CONFIRMATION ON THE PAYMENT. SHE HUNG UP. When we tried to call her back twice she put us on hold immediately without saying a word and the other two times she rerouted us to the home office. She was very rude was not helpful at all and would not answer my wife's questions. when she did say anything she was very rude about it I did not feel like I was in good hands with Allstate at all and definitely not with this woman. We tried to call corporate they did tell us that we would be getting an email confirmation but could not tell us anything else. when we ask about making a complaint they said they would simply put a note in our file that we were not satisfied. when asked if it's a complaint could go any further than that she said no, it would simply be read and only read if someone looked in my file. I'm not happy. I did not pick this agency I live in Alabama and Allstate picked the agency for me in North Carolina which makes no sense at all. I'm not happy and I would think twice if I were you about picking the JEFF CAULFIELD agency for ALLSTATE. best of luck they are expensive. she DID NOT HELP ME AT ALL WITH 5 QUESTIONS I ASKED. once again best of luck"
"I filed a claim a week ago and I am still waiting on the inspection to take place so that I can have my vehicle repaired. I am extremely frustrated with this situation as I have still not heard from my agent once and I have called multiple times to his office. To top it off, when the accident occurred, the roadside assistance app wasn’t working, the telephone number for Allstate roadside assistance wasn’t answering, and when I tried to call my agent, he also was not available. I was finally able to reach someone at the roadside assistance phone number, but that representative did not call a tow truck like he said he would. Fortunately, a police officer eventually pulled over and helped, but I received zero assistance from Allstate. Jeffrey and his office seem to be nice people, and were very helpful when I was signing up for the policy, but when I actually needed them for assistance, I did receive any. I do not mean for this review to be terrible, but I do want other people to know what happened when I needed help and did not receive any."
