"Very disappointing experience…. Is there a policy that you can’t try the display shoe? My apologies is there is such policy . And also have a sign DO NOT TRY !!!! But if ever there is have some decency to respect customer. Just trying the shoe on display… this employee was soooo rude to tell us can’t try the shoe . He repeated 2x as if he was talking to a child my daughter was so triggered for his rude attitude. We are not rude people and educated . Please show some good customer service .I’m calling the manager( hopefully you are not the store manager )in the Southpoint mallJourney’s store to train your staff good customer service . Whoever that GUY working around 7pm 3/11/2023 I’m calling you out . Kudos to the lady who was nice and greeted us . We will never step inside that store ever again"
"Stopped by the other day to buy some shoes. I did not get greeted when i entered nor did I get any help until I went and waited in line just to ask for my size in a shoe. it took about 5 minutes for them to go to the back and even find a size close to what i needed, since they brought out the wrong shoe the first time. The ladies at the register were decent, one of them was on facetime on her phone and talking to someone while I was waiting for my size. I just brushed it off. When they brought me the shoe I wanted to buy, I was asked if I wanted any socks. I said why not even though i didn't need any. They handed me a pair and checked me out, not telling my the price of the socks. Since I was in a hurry I just paid and left before I was late to work. I decided the day after purchasing that I did not want the socks anymore, as I didn't even choose a pair I liked. I thought it wouldn't be a problem and drove to the mall and got inside with my original receipt and the socks unopened. I was told that due to their return policy, they do not accept socks as returns, but only as exchanges and gift cards. They said something about covid being an issue with it. I apologized for the inconvenience that I felt I had made and left. It wasn't until I got home and read the return policy on the receipt. It says "we will gladly refund and/or exchange any unworn merchandise with a receipt.". I was confused because I had my receipt and the socks were clearly never taken out of the package. I called and asked the question and before i could finish, the girl knew who i was and handed the phone to who I assume was a manager. I tried to ask the question again and she cut me off and said something along the lines of "okay yeah whatever just come in. it'll take like a week to get the money back on your card and it has to be on a card." I was confused as I was just trying to ask a question. She was snarky but I said okay and thanked her anyway. All she said was "see you when you get here" and hung up. I was very unsatisfied with the customer service, as I work in customer service too. I understand what it's like and I was being as kind as I could. If you can't follow your return policy and help customers, then don't work in customer service. Maybe she was just having a bad day but i don't know. I don't think this was the policy as the receipt says otherwise and if it was policy they wouldn't just change their mind when I called. Very unsatisfied and hope this can be fixed for future situations."
"The customer service was terrible. When walking in we were not greeted, which isn’t a big deal. But, the only worker working there at the time seemed to be talking to her friends the first 5-10 minutes we were there. So finally after they left I was able to ask for sizes. You could tell the lady’s enthusiasm she previously had with her friends was gone. She was rude and had very short responses. Not helpful at all! She let my sister try on the shoe and when I had to ask for a bigger size she acted like it was the end of the world. Also, when asking for a bigger size I asked for a shoe for myself to try on. Shortly after, she only brings out one shoe doesn’t say anything and returns behind the desk on her phone. Not to grab the pair I requested. So, I started talking with my little sister (which I was going to buy these shoes for her birthday that was today) quietly about going to a different store because of the poor customer service here. I guess the worker was able to hear me and walks over standing behind while I’m tying my little sisters shoe and proceeds to start sighing obviously loud and taping her fingers on the shelf louder and louder. So I returned the shoes to her. Couldn’t get out of there faster! Went on to purchase both pair of those shoes at different stores in the mall today. Frankly, I will never be coming back here. No one deserves to be treated like that. I really wish I would have remembered to grab her name because I would definitely put it in the review if I did!!! She was terrible!!!"
"The salesperson was vacuous and seemed to know little more about shoes than they go on one's feet. They were guaranteed to make a sale with me that night because they had the brand I needed but did not have the style or the right size nor was there any offer to order what I needed. The manager on duty at the time did not help the clueless clerk and was more interested in the contents of her phone than guiding her "sales team". So, none of my questions were answered, I opted for a different style of the same brand, paid my money and trotted out into the overly shiny and nerve jangling consumeristic mecca of monetary predation that is a mall at "holiday season". I shall not return unless it is to get a refund on these boots."
