"Nothing is as advertised. Place is ridiculous! Employee walked in while my daughter was changing clothes without knocking ! Spoke to the “manager on duty” and he stated that there was nothing we could do bc they were under new management! We had no linens or toilet paper when we first arrived and had to go to the front desk to get them. Not to mention we couldn’t call the front desk because they don’t have the phones set up to do so. There isn’t an intention nor anything to call the front desk. The whole place smelled like cigarettes and weed. Had to wait for long periods of time to use the elevator due to construction workers taking up the elevators. The pool and arcade was closed due to construction which we knew nothing about until my children went to the pool and it was closed. We have stayed here in the past and it was never this bad. The only reason we booked this hotel was so my children could swim and play in the arcade. And the. To top it all off our water was shut off mid shower. But supposedly the front desk knows nothing about anything that’s going on. This place is a joke. And when I asked for a refund so that we could go stay somewhere else the manager on duty said that they couldn’t do anything about getting our refund for tonight because it’s after 11. So there was nothing he could do about it. This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in."
"This place is absolutely horrible. I get they are redoing the whole building but still the way they acted was just horrible… they robbed us of our money saying we were going to get a refund then a month later and we still not received it. Been back and forth and running around all month about this refund cause the “manger” is never in which seems unlikely. The room was a decent size the door however did not lock. It was not something we felt safe with especially when we are on vacation not knowing if we would have stuff in the room or not. Another thing is a nice lady that was also staying there showed me pictures of the indoor pool.. used diapers, broken bottles, cans, just nasty…. She also had hair in her coffee maker, she did bring it to the front desk and show them when they told her to take it back to her room and they will have someone come and clean it.. which mine in my room wasn’t clean and not restocked. The lady also said that on her car they had cigarettes buts which the hotel said no smoking, but also every floor and room we passed smelled like weed. They also said no pets but there were a lot of pets around and behaving inappropriately around the lobby… Another reason this hotel is HORRIBLE!!!! there is a possible camera in the bathroom, we were going to stay in 624, a honeymoon sweet for me and my husband’s one year, when we discovered the door doesn’t lock he went to the front desk I stayed in the room with our luggage, of course it was a 3 hour drive and no stops until we got to the hotel so while he was down at the front desk I decided to go to the rest room, while on the toilet I looked up and what seem to be a camera in the bathroom in the little square in the bathroom ceiling, it made me very uncomfortable and i immediately wanted to get away from that hotel after that experience. So robbing of money, horrible service from everyone, not going by their own rules, and just a nasty environment… this hotel was not a place to stay for anyone so please do not stay here…"
"I’ve stayed at this hotel dozens of times. It’s usually super clean and nice. When I walked in on Jan 3, 2024, the hotel had a funky smell. The lobby looked a little “trashed”. The hotel staff were not as friendly as the old staff had been numerous times before. The elevator was trashed with wrappers, food, and some sort of liquid that was not water. I get it spills happen. We went in and walked to the assigned room and the beds were unmade, trash was all over the room and trash can. Clearly the room had not been cleaned. We were then assigned to a different room and same thing. People were hanging out all over the hotel. I felt very unsafe and the cleanliness which has always drawn me to this hotel was no longer there. I am guessing numerous guests are now living in the hotel. I did book using a third party so when I called and asked for a refund and we were not staying in the nasty unsafe hotel, the hotel was co ya yes via the third party booking agent and the hotel staff tried telling the third party all of the rooms were clean. After several arguments I finally was refunded. This hotel has went to the dumps! Apparently they are under new management. The new management has torn this hotel apart. I DO NOT RECOMMEND staying here!"
"Rooms were meh...very outdated. Mostly clean. Little to no amenities although the room did have a frig. Only 1 working set of elevators. Ice machines on every other floor but really only on 1 and 6. Loud people and kids running up and down halls. The whole hotel was supposed to be smoke free but many smoking/vaping/pot smells. It was cheap and worked for our short 2 night stay, but will definitely stay somewhere else next time. Kids were excited to swim, but pool/lazy river was in the basement and very creepy. Also hot tub was drained so we didn't get to use any of that."
"Overall we had a decent stay. Could have been better. Cons: ➖️ can not check in early, unless you pay a $35 fee on top of the cost ➖️ $100 deposit fee is required when you check in, with a 3rd party vendor ➖️ Needs more plugs for electronic devices ➖️ Coffee maker needs clean( pictures taken) ➖️ Signs for ice machines on the floors are incorrect and/or out of order, only one ice machine was working which was on the first floor of a six-story hotel ➖️ Phone does not work at all to call for room service ➖️ Smoke detectors were covered in a bag ➖️ The vents need more attention when cleaning the heating/cooling units Pros: ➕️ Staff was extremely friendly and understanding ➕️ Beautiful view from the room ➕️ Everything was dusted from top to bottom ➕️ Refrigerator was cold and cleaned well by staff ➕️ Checked for bed bugs and found no evidence of any bugs ➕️ Has carbon dioxide detectors in the room ➕️ Just remodeled the Lazy River, pool, and hot tub, which looks amazing ➕️ Towels, wash clothes, and the necessities were all stocked well. Additional information: Sheets were dirty, but not very noticeable unless you examine them."
