"There's not a lot I can add that others haven't already contributed. I moved to Hickory in mid-June and have been in the shop 3x since. Joe cut me twice and Lynne once. There's no real reason for my choosing one over the other as I'm not terribly picky because it's tough, though not impossible to mess up a 1/2 up into a 1. I book based on who's open when I decide it's time. Anyway, it's a cool, spacious second floor spot on historic downtown Union Square. Third-ish door from 3rd St NW end of the block and up the steps. Parking can be tricky if you book on a farmer's market day, so give yourself a few extra minutes."
