"In the middle of the night, water splashed out of the ceiling onto the bathroom floor- an apparent pipe leak. They were able to transfer us to a new room nearby quickly and we had a restful remaining night. This is an older location but it is scheduled for renovation. Not the best stay, certainly, but the staff here are professional and courteous so it ended as a minor inconvenience."

"The Hampton Inn Raleigh-Capital Blvd North may not boast novelty, but it upholds cleanliness standards admirably. However, the small showers and noticeable noise from neighboring rooms detract from the overall experience. While not the pinnacle of Hampton Inn quality, it still offers a mediocre stay for those seeking basic accommodations."

"We booked the handicap accessible room as it was close to the door on the first floor and we have a dog. It was rough! The bathtub wasn't clean, the microwave cart was broken, lots of chips and scuffs on the walls. Lots of things were out of service, the business center, the gym. And the little store had barely anything! I wouldn't choose to stay there again."

"After a very poor experience with this property and the management in July a refund was promised. No refund has appeared on my American Express account. No documents have been provided so that I could track it down to American Express. The hotel management and Hilton customer service have handled this so poorly that I will not ever stay in a Hilton affiliated property again. Yes they have lost a customer. It is now October and after way too much effort on my part no refund has ever occurred. I could go into great detail about the failures of this hotel, but it is obvious that owners and management would not value the input. In summary this should not be a Hampton Inn. It was by far the worst Hampton Inn that I have ever stayed. If they would issue a refund, and correct the deficiencies, I will share my experience here. Pretty sure by the condition and service here that is a long shot. To people searching for a place to stay near the Duke Raleigh Hospital North there are way better options. My advice now is to avoid anything to do with Hilton."

"We arrived late at night with two tired children that needed to get to bed. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the air conditioning. The room was very musty and damp with obvious signs of water damage on the wall that enclosed the air conditioning unit. If we were staying more than one night then we would have requested a different room but chose to put up with the smell and the dampness for one night so we could get the kids to bed. Other than that the hotel was great! Breakfast was good (one of our kids said it was the best hotel breakfast ever) and we enjoyed the pool area prior to checking out the next morning."
