Best Western Plus Huntersville Inn & Suites Near Lake Norman

"The rooms are clean just not the quality (star quality of hotels) that I prefer. Nonetheless, it was spotless so I could not complain.The restroom was immaculate. And the most enjoyable part of my stay was the customer servict. Kiera at the front desk greeted us with a smile and each time we had a question she was very knowledgeable and helpful and continued to smile. If anything would bring me back, it would be her because my mother, my husband and I all agree that she is the prime, positive example of great customer service. I wish her the best in her future. People always comment on negative things but I believe in giving credit to those who bring happiness and smiles to others."

"The experience i had at this Best Western was less than satisfactory!! When i arrived to my room Saturday evening it was disorganized, not very clean, smelled like cigarette smoke, etc. After witnessing this I no longer felt comfortable staying in this room. I went and spoke to Amy at the front desk who handled the situation very well. She gave me a room that was in a better condition as well as a few extra towels and pillows to make sure I was compensated and comfortable. Overall I’d say the service was best experience i’ve had at this hotel. Everything else was disappointing to say the least. Best Western, do better."

"Bring your own pillow for sure!! unless you want to sleep on a tiny one. Our AC did not work the whole the time we were there. location is great, staff was friendly, the breakfast was nice along with the coffee!"

"Clean, not plush. I admit the neg reviews made me question my reservation, but its not a bad hotel. Its a strong 2star hotel on the industry scale. The room's entry & bathroom were clearly recently improved with new tile plank floors and improved sink. The bedding appeared clean. Just a reminder that toiletries are complimentary and meant to help you get by, after reading some neg comments about brand and quantity. Yes the bed does slope a little to the middle. The window in room 206 does not close all the way... at fits I heard outside noise and thought it was left open, but a quick look didnt reveal any large opening, which then made me think it might be cracked. Turned out its just stuck open about 1/4in, leaving a 1/8in gap. I did not try the breakfast, so I cannot comment... but I did see it, also complimentary, was available."

"While the staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and understanding, this hotel unfortunately had nothing but problems. We had requested a room not on the main floor, far from the elevator. Upon arrival, we were given the first room beside the elevator on the first floor. We requested to move, and the staff were helpful, and moved us to the second floor. Unfortunately, the second room had an extremely strong smell of cigarette smoke that was masked by some sort of air freshener. We again requested to move and were moved to a room on the third floor. The third room did not have a smoke detector connected and we were unable to connect to the wifi. We were not provided adequate towels either. We decided to cancel the rest of our reservation and try our luck somewhere else. The staff were great, everything else not so much."
