"We made up our own "wine trail" which consisted of stopping in seven wineries for their taste-testing while in Gatlinburg. This was our first stop and by far the best one. Our hostess was friendly and knowledgeable, very chatty. The wines we sampled were excellent too. Bought three bottles. All the other wineries in town were disappointing with the people who worked and served . Pretty much mumbled at us, were sloppy in pouring drinks, acted like they could care less about our business. I highly recommend this place!"
"I have never had such poor customer service in my life. I have visited this winery every time I have vacationed to Gatlinburg, as this is a place I very much look forward to stopping by for the great wine. However, this encounter I was completely ignored upon entering and was never acknowledged once. Granted the server was with a nice couple, but they were only chatting about Tom Cruise’s dyslexia amongst other things not pertaining to wine for 20+ minutes. I would approach the bar and try to get her attention, only to be ignored each time. I finally asked to look at the list, but was rudely told I couldn’t look at it until she had checked my ID and my family’s. She continued to talk with the couple and finally began checking them out. I stood for another 5 minutes off to the side and finally decided to leave after 30 minutes with no assistance or acknowledgment whatsoever. I was very excited to share this place with my family, as this was their first time, but never again. If you can not show the bare minimum of customer service or handle more than 2 people at once in 30 minutes, then I’m not sure you are suitable for the job. After reading previous recent reviews, it appears others have had the same experience with the same person. Very disappointed and will never return."
"The visit to this winery was meant to be a delightful experience, a romantic escapade with promises of rich wine and a serene atmosphere. However, what awaited us was beyond disappointment; it was a harrowing encounter. Upon arrival, the ambiance seemed inviting, but it swiftly turned into a nightmare when my girlfriend approached the counter seeking assistance. The woman behind it, instead of offering guidance, unleashed a torrent of verbal assault, her words laced with contempt and rudeness. My girlfriend, taken aback and emotionally wounded by the encounter, was left speechless. The scars of that encounter cut deeper than any poorly managed vineyard could ever produce. It's heartbreaking that an establishment meant for pleasure could turn into a source of emotional trauma. What appalls me further is learning that this behavior isn't an isolated incident; several other patrons have faced similar treatment. It seems as though providing poor customer service is a recurring theme at this winery. For anyone seeking a pleasant winery experience, I would strongly caution against visiting here. The toxic demeanor of the staff overshadowed any potential enjoyment, leaving us shattered instead of enriched. It's regrettable that such behavior tarnishes what could have been a haven for wine enthusiasts."
"I've been buying wine here for 15+ years and it is excellent, 5+ stars for the wine itself but the lady that waited on me today was terrible. They were busy so I told her I didn't need to taste, I knew what I wanted and already had the bottles on the counter. She insisted I try a new wine so I agreed. She poured it and when I went to pick up the sample cup she rudely yelled out, "this is not a bar" you can't pick it up. I laughed thinking how an I going to taste it if I can't pick it up? With several other people waiting behind me, she tells me it's not a laughing matter and starts quoting "tasting laws" and fines up to $28,000 for picking up the cup and points out video cameras and tells me were being recorded. I really hope that we were! Never had this happen at any other wineries that I've sampled at. If the wine I was buying had not been Christmas gifts I would have walked out. I love the wine here but if I go back and she's the only one working, I will leave."
"A gem! The wine and David were awesome! Amazing prices for amazing products! I ended up purchasing a bottle of the Reflections and I can’t wait to pour a glass! If you haven’t been here I highly recommend!"
