Smart Start Ignition Interlock

"The guys at the shop took a bad situation and turned it into a good experience. Having an interlock installed in your car can be a huge pain but the guys are there to help. Go in with a little bit of humor and you’ll leave happy. It’s not their fault we screwed up and got arrested, so why take it out on them when they are helping us continue with our lives. The interlock is super annoying but it’s better than not driving for a year, so I’ll take it!"

"Absolutely hands down worst staffing. Everytime I come in they have either been closed with no signs on door alerting that they are closed. Called corporate and they investigated that no one showed up that day… apparently now they have lunch hours between 12:30-1:30pm so don’t show up.. and even at 1:30 pm they still aren’t answering their phone and door is still locked. These are clearly just a group of kids that don’t care about their jobs. It’s always a set of younger guys working here maybe early 20s at most and half the time when it comes to troubleshooting things they don’t know squat. Fortunately for me I don’t use their service often I just at times have to take the vehicle in for someone’s appointment when they are at work, but regardless, corporate needs to rehire and retrain with proper staffing! Learn how to be punctual and on time!"

"My first visit to the location was today and Larry was outstanding and went above and beyond. He addressed issues I have been having with my device from the beginning that another location would not even consider. They just kept blowing me off and taking my money. Larry did everything he could to hopefully fix the defect and explained why my device had been malfunctioning. I will only be going back to this location from now on. If you live in the Gaston area and have been going to another location you should definitely consider giving this location a try."

"Its better since I first started. Everything I did would flag the device. I thought I would not be able to do it. 3 years. Now I have 1 month left. I have seen people come and go work there and repeat offenders have devices installed all over again. I have become so use to the process I cannot imagine not having it in my car anymore. I will be glad when I do. Smart Start was a good choice. I have enjoyed the service from them. Remember to have money when you have the device installed. I always see people go and dont realize they have to pay for the first month up front. You make people wait for calebration while you argue or contest you didnt know. Take it seriously or pay the consequences..."
