"Fantastic local space for community events such as the farmer's market, concerts and festivals. You could probably get married out there! When I was a kid in the 1973-1975's, me, my mom, and dad all played softball on different teams on the baseball field. Carrboro also used to put on a yearly carnival in this space. It had a ferris wheel, great junk food, games and lots of other fun rides. You got to see all your friends! BRING BACK THE CARNIVAL!! For concerts, its nice to sit out on the grass to hear good music of any genre...just chill in the zone and feel the evening breeze. A hometown jewel."
