"This may be my new favorite Italian restaurant in the Knoxville area! I have driven past this place many times and not stop but today it was empty at 11:30 and we were hungry so we stopped. And I am so glad that my friend and I stopped in and gave it a try! 12/29/2023: Returned for dinner this evening with my wife and in-laws. Delicious food! Great service!"
"Recently, we ate at Pero’s of Rocky Hill. The Caesar Salad is 1 of the Best that I have ever had. There are 2 places in Knoxville that have the best Caesar Salads, Pero's is 1 of the 2. My Girlfriend got the Pero's Pasticcio, Greek Lasagna, she said the béchamel sauce was really good. I had the Build your own Pizza" a 10" with Ground Beef & Onions. It was yummy good. I did not eat too much because I saved room for the Dessert, which was 'Hannah's Chocolate Panda Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream and Caramel sauce. The Dessert was heavenly. The atmosphere was family friendly, quiet, relaxing. Their building is wheelchair accessible as well. There is plenty of parking too. The Staff is friendly and outgoing. Really good Greek-Italian style restaurant."
"Food is excellent, I needed a bit of salt for the Parmesan tilapia. Served on orzo, which is pasta made to resemble rice. Greek Fries were huge and excellent. Greek potato salad was a different flavor but a good one. Made for a fine anniversary dinner, although too expensive for eating often."
"I've only recently found out about this lovely place after living in the area for all my life. The ambiance inside is cozy yet somewhat modern. The outside area is serene when it's a nice warm day. The food is awesome! The portion sizes are to die for. It's a bit more expensive than some other places but it's totally worth it. I'd definitely recommend this place for anyone who loves Italian, but also if they wanted a calm date night. It's one of the better Italian places I've been to!"
"First time here and unfortunately was not impressed. Couldn't tell if it was opened from outside because it appeared completely dark from outside until I checked the front door. Atmosphere is decent with plenty of seating however it took awhile to be seated even though it was practically empty. I ordered one meal only to find out more than 10 minutes later that they didn't have a sauce for the meal so I had to order something else. It happens however it was one of their main dishes, I mean come on. I ordered their pork platter. It took about 30 minutes to receive it which was way toooo long to wait around especially since it was pretty empty and it wasn't cheap either. Had pork on a skewer with plain lettuce, slices of tomatoes, pita bread, and a side of green beans in tomato based sauce. The food itself was decent however because of the wait and price I don't intend on coming back. Better options around in the area that are better tasting, quicker, and cheaper."
