His move to Louisburg, also, lowered his overhead. He has passed on those cost savings to his customers. "2001 S-40 Volvo Old + new front shock bumpers. Before I met Andy Harrison I had spent $$ with other “experienced” Volvo mechanics trying to fix this problem. Old bumpers had rotted after 15 years and produced a loud banging noise, actually bone jarring sensation when going over any size road bump. Several Volvo experts always avoided the issue while wanting to do other easy but expensive repairs on this old car. Right away Andy said it was the bumpers and that it was an expensive repair (labor) and not to fix it unless I really wanted to keep the car – it was OK to drive it as is. . He fixed it and I was amazed. Andy is honest as the day is long, up front with any possible issues, very fair priced, knows Volvos better than the all the rest. He will tell you when expensive repairs can wait and not just flip parts for a quick buck. He is my goto Volvo guy and I have had him fix several other major and minor issues with my car. I live in Raleigh and he is well worth the drive to get great service. Five Stars."
