"MAC Auto Care is the only place I trust to service my Mercedes. I’m confident that when I take my vehicle there, it’s accurately diagnosed, and I will be charged a fair price for repairs. For example, I recently took my SL-550 there because a warning light indicated that I needed to have my brake pads checked. I wasn’t surprised because the car is nearly ten years old and has never had any brake work performed. What did surprise me was when Mike inspected the vehicle, he said yes, I needed pads, but the rotors looked good and didn't need to be replaced. I have gotten numerous brakes jobs done on five different BMWs and Mercedes since 1996, and this was the first time I was told I didn't need to replace the rotors. I had always questioned why the rotors “always” needed replacing and had concluded that it had something to do with how foreign luxury cars are made. I know now it has more to do with how service advisors and mechanics are made. If you own a Mercedes, do yourself a favor and ditch the dealerships.
