"Dr Hermann was very professional & so sweet throughout my root canal. He and Tiffany make a good team. I highly recommend & although I hope I don’t have to have any more root canals I would definitely go back to Dr Hermann."
"I visited Dr. Hermann's office for a root canal procedure, which ended up spanning three appointments. Unfortunately, during the process of locating a canal, a perforation occurred where the probing instrument inadvertently breached the chamber of my tooth. While I understood that such occurrences can happen, and I wasn't overly anxious or upset about it, the real ordeal emerged with regard to the billing process. Prior to undergoing the procedure, I engaged in a conversation with Tiffany, the front office staff. At that point, I was in the midst of changing my insurance coverage due to a job transition. Seeking guidance from Tiffany on the matter, she recommended that I complete the root canal procedure before my previous insurance expired, thus enabling me to leverage the new insurance's benefits. Notably, most dental insurance policies are capped with a maximum benefit. The total cost of the procedure was approximately $1550, with an expected coverage of fifty percent from my insurance. After looking at her computer screen for a few minutes, she indicated that I still had around $800 in available coverage. Her assurance led me to make a pre-payment of roughly $775 using my personal credit card, anticipating that the insurance would handle the remaining fifty percent. However, a couple of weeks later, I was startled to receive a bill from the Hermann Office demanding payment for the outstanding balance $714.2, as the insurance coverage fell short to pay only 60.8. Naturally, I reached out to the office to clarify the situation. In this exchange, Tiffany conveyed that her initial information was wrong and my insurance allowance was, in fact, a mere $60.8. She stated that she contacted me to discuss whether I still wished to proceed with the procedure and I said yes. However I found no evidence of any call from her on that day according to my phone records. Her subsequent claim that she left a voicemail wasn't something I had encountered either, and the voicemail she mentioned wasn't accessed by me until a day I received my bill. This substantial alteration in financial information should not have relied solely on a voicemail, which, to be clear, should not be considered as a "successful"mean of information delivery. Additionally, the significant change was never communicated during my second and third appointments. I endeavored to explain this situation to Tiffany, seeking some form of financial accommodation, only to be met with an uncompromising rejection and her assertion that she had indeed informed me. Her stance was rather dismissive, and she reiterated, "I did tell you this, and you still proceeded with the procedure!" Regrettably, due to her lackadaisical demeanor, I was left to bear the full financial burden of the procedure from my own resources. As a result, I strongly caution anyone against seeking services at this particular office."
"This was my first experience with a root canal, and I have only heard horrible things my whole life about them. I was immediately at ease with Dr. Hermann. He explained everything- why a root canal was necessary & every step that was going to be done in detail. He drew me a diagram & explained with x-rays. I felt like he just really loved what he did. His entire staff was friendly & kind, and there was something about the way he spoke with his assistant & to me that was so calming and reassuring throughout the process. My root canal was in a difficult spot & required two appointments to finish the job, but I can honestly say I have had much worse experiencing with fillings & cleanings than with this root canal. It was almost entirely painless- both times he numbed the area, I barely even felt the numbing shot. He's clearly very skilled at what he does, & I would recommend this place 100 times over."
"I am scared to death of any kind of dentist. I had a tooth that had a crown on it and for some reason the roots decided to die. Not to mention the fact that I am very difficult to numb. He was able to get me completely numb and drill through the crown without cracking it. Now that takes skills. I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks again Dr. Hermann for me so attentive to my needs. Yes, his staff was as awesome as he was."
"After a hockey incident, my son had to visit Dr. Hermann for two of his front teeth. Throughout both visits Dr. Hermann and his staff have been very professional, friendly, and worked with our schedules. They did a great job explaining the whole process to us. Thank you, so much! Highly recommend if you need any endodontist work!"
