"If you are reading this review I advise you to take heed and seek services elsewhere. I am given a candid review about this auto repair shop. My husband took his box truck to Dennis to get a water pump, brakes, fuel injectors, fuel tank, and fuel pump put on his truck. Dennis assured us that he could effectively do the work, that he worked for Ford Motors for years and he had numerous years of experience. We left the truck with him feeling a sense of relief that we finally found a shop that could repair the truck. Weeks went by with no follow-ups on the status of the truck so my husband called and was told that he was in the process of finding another gas tank because the one we purchased did not work. Months went by with no follow-ups again so my husband called to check the status and was advise he did not have any help at this time to work on the truck and was in the process of looking for more help. Time passed, still no follow-ups or calls about the truck. Weeks turned into months. As we were approaching a year since the truck was first brought to Dennis, nothing was done with the truck but Dennis continue to take money as if he was performing maintenance and repairs on the truck. My husband decided enough was enough and decided to go and get his truck from this shop to find someone else that could work on the truck. Dennis demanded $400.00 more dollars before he released the truck which brought the total amount given to him to $1750.00 with no work done! I will be filing a report with the Attorney General office as well as the Durham Civil Court system. We had a mechanic come from Virginia to purchase the vehicle since we decided to try and sell it and cut our losses. The mechanic informed us that none of the work Dennis claimed to repair or fixed was done and wanted to know what did he do with all the parts we purchased for this truck. He advised we questioned Dennis about this and let him know so that he could make an informed decision if it would be worth the investment to purchase this truck."

"He lied about performing repairs and took my money. 1750$ when I went to pick up my truck no repairs were made. I bought parts for the repairs but I don’t know what he did with over a thousand dollars worth of parts. He ran a scam with he business. Don’t trust this place. I have to go to court and try to get my parts and money back."

"I am a woman and I am at ease when I bring my babies (Cars) here for repair with Dr. Dennis Sales. I do not have all of the tension, headaches, and stress like I do, when I carry my Cars to the Dealership. The dealership always add extra prices to repairs and always find extra items that need repairs for jacking my bill up to where it is entirely unaffordable and unreasonable for me to pay. I am sick and tired of the dealership with high cost repairs due to me being a woman. It is always just like taking a child to the doctor's office. You want the best reasonable service care possible at cost effective prices (Fair Prices that everyone has to pay)."

"Dennis is the best!! We were stranded from out of town. Dennis worked on our car on a Sunday and charged us an extremely fair rate. Could not recommend D&S more!!! Thank you Dennis!!"

"Many issues with their service. Came recommended from a friend... first few times I used them things were great. Within last year have had transmission flush and not enough transmission fluid put back in causing my transmission to not want to change gears, ran hot after coolant flush... again not enough coolant added. Have had to replace a shock that was less than a year old as well as 2 motor mounts that were replaced a little over a year ago. Claims lifetime warranty on parts but when broken parts were taken back to them along with receipt and a request for a refund made... got nothing but attitude and as of yet no reimbursement."
