GLOSSY NAILS BAR

"I am not sure how this place has such great reviews. I went in for an appointment at 5pm (granted I was 5 minutes late so that's on me), but I got a simple dip service and did not end up leaving after 7pm. It took over 35 min just to get my previous polish off. Then the guy who was doing my nails just kept adding layers of things. My nails are so thick and there is a visible separation of nail and color where there is too much base applied. I kept telling them it was too thick, and I think he was using the wrong size drill because he would take the slimmest of layers off each time. Then someone else came over to take over (I know she was doing her best to help but I think the only thing that could have made this better was starting from scratch). After about 5 times of telling them it was took thick, I gave up since I had been there for so long. Then the top layer is gel, and it dried covered in bumps and bubbles. Now a few days later my nails are starting to hurt? I have gotten my nails done at least once a week for over 6 years, so I know how it should look and feel and this is not it. Also, I am pretty sure they gave me the wrong color. It turned out more of a sparkly poop brown than the nice deep red shimmer I picked out. I am glad others have had a good experience, and maybe it was just an off day or the guy doing my nails was new, but I am highly disappointed."

"The nail tech was really nice and I love the fact that it is walking distance from my apartment. They had a very wide selection of dip powder colors to choose from. My nails came out beautiful. I appreciate the fact they were able to work with my tiny nail beds! I will be going back to this salon!"

"After being in Holly Springs for 19 years I’ve finally cracked the code… Best Nail Salon!!!!! I went to Glossy Nails Bar today and it did not disappoint. Y’all this is the spot right here!!! Not only did they do an amazing job on my gel manicure, I’ve never had someone pay so much attention to detail on my cuticles and the skin surrounding my nail. The salon was super clean and the manicurist spent so much time on the details surrounding my nail. That thoroughly impressed me! I didn’t feel like another number and the manicurist did not rush. Full coverage on the nail with polish is also super important to me and they hit the nail on the head! The price for a full gel manicure was unmatched. They didn’t charge extra for gel removal either. Most people say you get what you pay for, but honestly after my experience today I feel like I got way more than what I paid for!! I highly recommend this salon, I will be back!"
