"Inside and outside bar. They a Offer food there. They offer alot of sour beers along with traditional lagers, ipa, stouts, etc. their food is really good! We got sandwiches and Buddha bowl and it was excellent. Parking available on the street and nearby lots. Some nearby lots you have to pay to park. Dog friendly for outside seating"

"Wicked Weed is great, but if you’re a pickle girl who relishes in the sour—Funkatorium is the place to go. I was on a trip with my best friend (also a pickle girl) and we stopped for a nightcap of flights and the plate of pickled seasonal vegetables every night we were in town. That said, I highly recommend any of the sour flights accompanied by the pickled seasonal veggies—it was a real unique surprise to have pickled cashews and okra on our plate."

"This is the premier place for sour beers in the USA. So many options and flavors to choose from. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. They even have space for live shows. The epitome of Asheville chill is inviting and engaging at the Funkatorium. I ordered the Angel Flight and was definitely rewarded with a pallet pleasing array of sour beers. Each one my favorite. But a special shout out to the Black Angel...a dark cherry sour aged in a bourbon barrel. So much depth. So much flavor. It left a lasting memory in my soul. Definitely going back for more."

"Funkatorium is a sibling of the Wicked Wick Pub brewery near downtown. This brewery's specialty is sour beer while the downtown one focuses on more of normal beer. You can get their menu online. I'm not a beer fan so I can't comment on the beer they sell. We did order classic french fries and it was really good. Thick, crunchy and just the right amount of salt. Would definitely order french fries again. Their customer service is also good: friendly, polite and pretty fast. However, my server at the downtown one was better though. I love both indoor and outdoor seating at Funkatorium. I like the outdoor seating here more than the downtown one: more space, more shade, very casual and relaxing to hang out. The indoor design is beautiful and impressive. I guess I love both indoor and outdoor here more than the downtown one :D"

"Such a fun lunch and drink experience in downtown Asheville! The aesthetics were great, with lots of seating options indoor and outdoors, small dining menu, and great beer list! The flight was lovely. We ordered the mushroom melt with bacon and the #4 barrel aged sour flight. So delicious! Loved the plants everywhere and bright light ambiance. Will definitely be coming back!"
