"Great place for members. The bar is clean and the pool table is in great condition. The bathrooms are clean as well. The bartenders are always in good spirits. The patio, tables, and outdoor area is always well kept."
"I have been going to this bar for almost a decade. The amount of love, support and life advice that I have received from the owners; Phil and RyAnn, has made me into the woman I am today. I cannot even put it into words. That being said, this is a locals bar only!! If you come here with someone who is a member be respectful of the regulars, owners and the property. But most importantly if you’re new here, don’t pet the dog lol"
"I wanted to like it here but they questioned the ID and the validity of someone I was with because their gender presentation didn’t match their ID… that’s a hard no for me. RE owners response: I am not sure how to respond to the reply :( but anyway... I completely understand the need to verify someones age but I think there is a respectful way to do this and a disrespectful way to do this. The way you handled this situation was unkind, marginalizing, and transphobic. I know y'all pride yourselves on being exclusive but I didn't think y'all prided yourselves on excluding marginalized communities. We stuck around and ordered a second drink because tbh I thought you'd apologize. Bottom line, this is not a place I'd recommend for anyone that's queer, just a heads up."
"I’ve been a regular here for about 2 years now and can say as an Asheville native this is hands down my favorite place to have drinks at. The owners are very amazing people but in no sort of way should you expect them to #1. Treat you like you are owed a membership or that they need to bow down to you because you have money to spend, #2. Expect you coming in with 6+ people during a pandemic to be greeted with open arms, and #3. Feel as if this place is like every other brewery/bar in town. This place is an oasis in the middle of a town filled with entitled tourists and companies who want to cater to that type. Nothing against being like that but this place isn’t. Be respectful, don’t pet Taco, and have a good time."
