"Went to this salon for crochet braids , after 11 days the braids started coming loose and falling out. Now this was not my first time getting crochet braids, I’ve worn them many times before and this has never happened. Therefore, I contacted the proprietor to ask if there was anything that could be done to fix the problem. She responded that I should have come back sooner than 11 days. Really lady, crochet braids should last at least 6 weeks with no issues. She was not concerned. I responded that she should be concerned not only with her poor customer service but also the lack of customer retention. If she is a one and done, her business will never flourish. Therefore, she is not deserving of a good customer nor the $25.00 tip I gave her. DO NOT waste your time or money here atTania’s or Beautiful braids, as she uses both names. Believe me, there are excellent braiders in Charlotte, I’ve had quite a few after moving here from NYC, however, she is definitely not one of them."

"I made a last minute updo braiding appointment with Tania and she exceeded my expectations. My appointment was at 1130 and she greeted me on time. When I told her what I was looking for she asked questions and made suggestions. Tania wanted to ensure that the services she provided met my needs. The braids were very detailed, aligned and care taken to ensure I was satisfied throughout the service. I was more than pleased with the braiding style and I highly recommend Tania for any of your braiding needs."

"Tania is a very nice lady, her location and salon is very nice as well. But she straight lied on the phone when I inquired and asked her if she knew how to do an invisible part sew-in. Not only did she not know how to do an invisible part, she does not know how to do a sew in period. She did not complete the track from one side to the next, she inserted the needle directly into the weft itself. I told her I wanted to be able to pull the front of the hair back and not see weft not only did I see weft I saw the entire braid. I tipped her and told her it was ok I liked it because I did not want to embarrass her in front of others there in the salon as I am not that person, and she put in the time and effort, but the fact remains that she lied and that is not ok.... If Braiding is your expertise say that and do that! The next person wont be so nice! FYI: the pic of me is not the style she did this is prior to Tania"
