"I was not a patient, but was looking for a new dentist. I had chipped a tooth and called to see when I might be able t get in for an appointment hoping that it wouldn't be too long before they got me in. I was surprised to hear that they could see me that very day! Everyone in the office was very nice and professional. Not only did the dentist fix my chip, but because they had a cancellation they also did a cleaning! I totally recommend this practice, and have even told my hubs to make an appointment."
"Before I start my review can I first say that Dr. Mitchell is one of the best in the business, he is also very kind and polite. Unfortunately when you have an office there are people who are not as passionate about your growth as you. I had an emergency appointment, just as I did last year that I knew would require an extraction. Before we got started (Megan- dingy one at the desk) comes in and says “I don’t want to have you talk at the end so I am going to take your payment now” well o let her know that my husband was going to be the one paying so o won’t have to talk at the end. Well for a solid 20 minutes I set there watching her discuss me to multiple staff members with my door cracked as if I couldn’t hear her. I became very uncomfortable and expressed that with the dental tech. The dental tech then expressed to me that people have ran off without paying so they changed the office policy and you have to pay first now. (Which by the way paying first is not an issue, but Megan requested I pay to prevent me from talking). Well Megan and the office manager decided to come in and I expressed that I felt I deserved an apology because it was extremely unprofessional to continue to talk about a patient with various people in the open , and while my door was cracked. Instead of just simply saying “the policy requires you to pay first”. The office manager felt the need to tell me “She does not fell like she did anything wrong so she will not apologize “ . And the staff payment policy changed because of COVID, though I was there just last year smh. The lack of accountability, the fact that I’m already uncomfortable, the fact she made me even more uncomfortable, I just left. I am no being taken care of by a veteran friendly dentist. I’m an 100% disabled service connected veteran and I know I can get treated better than that anywhere else but Regal Oak Dentistry!"
"As usual it was a perfect experience. Dr Hiren Patel is a great doctor and a wonderful person. Denise always takes care of everything and she great. Megan is a super nice in doing her job. In so many years I have never had any negative experience."
"We Love our Dental Office. Dr Mitchell and his Staff always Treat us well with Friendly Faces, Compassion, Knowledge, and a place to feel like we are known and Appreciated. They only place my now 10 year old would let service her."
"I have no clue what's going on with this office. Dr. Mitchell and his dental Assistant (although she's quite new) to what she's doing, were great. The front desk staff is questionable. The receptionist functions as a robot. She only says what she thinks sounds good and repeats the same thing over and over. Meagan, not sure who she is, is a liar. She had the audacity to lie about insurance coverage and cost. On the day my daughter went in for her initially visit, I made another appointment for the following day to begin treatment. Before leaving I inquired on whether or not they were able to give me a print out of treatment plan along with cost. Front desk gal, said she wasn't able to obtain anything because person responsible wasn't available. Then said they would call me, but also stressed that if I didn't keep the appointment that I would be charged a fee for not cancelling within 24hrs even though I was within the 24hr time frame of the appointment. I then told her to schedule for the following week. She then said someone would followup and they will then email me with the info. Following week came up, still no call so I called and asked what happened and again she gave me the same foolish response about said person not being available. I then told her to cancel several times while she rambled non sense. I then asked my daughter to call them to verify they cancelled. Megan picked up then asked to speak with me. She then told me she had the breakdown of charges. She then lied and told me I had a $100 deductible which was not true(it's $50) then told me my out of pocket expense is $284, for a cleaning and one tooth filling. I've had services for myself and haven't even come near that with everything I've had done. I guess they believe we as patient don't actually do the leg work of gathering insurance information before going to a dentist. I wouldn't recommend them to my enemy. Now my daughter has to wait till next year to restart the process. . Luckily, it's the end of the year."
